The physical version of Overcooked: Special Edition has a release date. Team17 has announced that it’s currently slated for February 13 in North America and Europe (including the UK).
Two other Team17 games will also be sold physically on Switch. Worms W.M.D and Yoku’s Island Express will be offered at retail next year.
Best Buy is running a new sale to celebrate Cyber Monday. There are a few highlights on Nintendo platforms, including Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. for $3, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer for $10, and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 for $40 (Deluxe Edition for $55). Yasunori Mitsuda has posted a lengthy piece about the creation of the music for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 today. Mitsuda acted as a music / sound producer for the game.
In his piece, Mitsuda talks about what a large project this was. A chorus from Slovakia, an orchestra from Japan, vocal songs from Jen Bird,and the Irish chorus group ANÚNA were all involved.
