With the last update of their website, Famitsu has also uploaded the first screenshots of Kamiko, a new action game that will be arriving on the Switch next month in Japan.

This game has been developed by Fairune devs Skipmore and will present players with the control of three “Divine Maidens” with different powers and abilities in a fantastic and pixelated world.

Following up on the Snake Pass Switch vs. PS4 comparison posted last night, the folks over at Digital Foundry have come out with their own analysis of the two versions. Switch manages to stack up pretty well on the whole.

On Switch, a few graphical effects are missing and the game runs at a native 1200×675 resolution while docked (in comparison to the PS4’s 1536×864). Both versions are locked at 30 FPS. Unfortunately, the Switch release has some frame-pacing issues, but it’s nothing overly major and could be addressed in a future patch.

Here’s the full analysis from Digital Foundry:

Famitsu has published their online preview of the recently announced Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey, along with the first screenshots of the upcoming 3DS game.

As you probably know by now, this will be a remake of the SMT: Strange Journey game for DS, but with new features such as an easier playability, a new character and new story endings.

Thanks to Famitsu and Gematsu we also got the first story details for SMT: Deep Strange Journey. A strange land with the name of “Schwarzwelt” has suddenly appeared in the Antarctic and the protagonist, along with a Strike Team, must investigate it. Monsters from the Shin Megami Tensei series appear and the player must make a series of choices in order to decide the future of mankind.

Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey will launch this fall for 3DS in Japan.

Just like the first game, Splatoon 2 features gear. There are three categories: headgear, clothes, and shoes. The Splatoon 2 Twitter account teases new gear keeping in line with the fashion trends taking place in Inkopolis Square.

Every piece of gear has an ability. With abilities, it’s possible for the same kind of gear to be unique. With the two years that have gone by since the first Splatoon, it sounds like some abilities are new or have changed.
