The Edge Joystick is one of two new peripherals Emio created for the NES Classic Edition. Unfortunately, reports are coming in that the accessory isn’t working with Nintendo’s device. It’s compatible with the Wii and Wii U, but in terms of the NES Classic Edition, buyers are out of luck. Best Buy is apparently recalling The Edge Joystick, asking consumers to return it.

Emio does at least seem to be aware of the situation, and is hoping to rectify things. The incompatibility is due to a missing adapter not included in the box. If you’re one of these people affected, Emio is advising consumers on Facebook to send an email to [email protected].

There is no denying that the Pokémon franchise is somewhat of a rarity in the gaming industry. To have a series so well-beloved by new and old fans alike for twenty years, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to assume that something like Pokémon would have petered out long ago. It’s still going strong even after such a long time has passed. However, along with two decades worth of games comes a desire to innovate and to avoid the underlying possibility of stagnation and repetition. Now, with Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon on the horizon and the promise of a fresh take on its tried-and-true formula, the seventh generation surpasses all expectations and delivers not only one of the finest entries in the franchise to date, but one of the best role playing games of the year.

When Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon launch on Friday, a special real-life Z-Ring will also be made available. It lights up, vibrates, and emits sounds to go along with what’s happening in-game. Kotaku now has a video up showing the Z-Ring – view it below.

The folks over at Smosh have once again produced an “honest trailer” for a game. This time, the video focuses on Pokemon X/Y. Check it out below.

Starfall Studios is still tinkering away on Sneaky Ninja, which will be coming to Wii U at the beginning of next year. A new clip showing a level with Samurai sailships and underwater gameplay can be found below.
