TIME has gone up with its own interview about Super Mario Run. Unsurprisingly, it was Shigeru Miyamoto answering the questions.

Miyamoto actually talked about quite a bit here. He spoke about how Nintendo decided on which gameplay elements to include, the different playable characters, the idea behind Kingdom Builder, and why it’s the right time for Mario to appear on mobile.

My Nintendo began to display the amount of points that are expiring on your account back in September. With the recent website refresh, it has now been extended further.

In the past, you’d only be able to see how many points were expiring over the next three months. This has now been doubled. Along with the current month, users can see the amount of points that will be leaving their accounts five months beyond.

The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ has already been teased for Switch once, and now it seems that Nicalis has done so once again.

Fans have found a secret message from the company’s Tyrone Rodriguez. After putting together the first words of several tweets, it states that the game is heading to Switch next spring.

Perhaps Nicalis will be more open to talking about The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ for Switch after the big unveiling event in January.

Mercenaries Saga 3 is planned for a Thursday release on the North American 3DS eShop next week, and Circle Entertainment is getting ready with a new video. Watch an introduction trailer below.

Data from Japan suggested that Super Mario Maker for 3DS sold about 150,000 copies in its first week in Japan. Dengeki now shares a bit of extra data about its performance.

Super Mario Maker for 3DS reportedly sold through 50 percent of its initial shipment. While that may seem low, it did manage to outdo the Wii U version’s first week sales of 137,000 copies.

We haven’t heard much about Mario Sports Superstars since its announcement during the September Nintendo Direct. However, a few details were included in this month’s Game Informer, and now we know even more about the game. Nintendo put up a fact sheet on its website which goes a bit more in-depth.

The first thing mentioned is that you’ll be able to “hone skills in training”. In other words, a training mode should be included. The same paragraph also mentions that you can “pick Mario, Waluigi, or one of sixteen others”, meaning there should be 18 playable characters.

Moving onto the sports themselves, we have actual information as to how the horse racing will play out. You’ll build a stable of horses, then train them before moving on to actual races. In-field shifts will be a part of baseball while soccer will let you change your team’s formation.
