Bandai Namco has been showing a lot of Dragon Ball: Fusions as of late, but we haven’t heard too much about the battle system. That changed in the latest issue of V Jump.
Here’s the full scan translated by Shonen Games which touches on this area of gameplay:

Kirby: Planet Robobot launched in North America and Europe on Friday. To celebrate, director Shinya Kumazaki posted a message on Miiverse.
Kumazaki talked about Planet Robobot itself before moving on to Kirby in general. He mentioned the series’ 25th anniversary coming up next year and HAL’s plans “to keep taking the Kirby series to new heights for years to come”.
We’ve posted the full message below.
Last week, Famitsu published an article on Monster Hunter Stories. It included an interview with Ryozo Tsujimoto, producer of the series.
There was quite a bit discussed during the interview. Tsujimoto talked about things like the world, systems, how long it’ll take to complete Monster Hunter Stories, and the brand new amiibo. That’s in addition to a few other topics like the anime.
We’ve gone ahead and translated Famitsu’s interview with Tsujimoto. Head past the break to read it in full.
It’s been a strange couple of months as Nintendo shared its plans for E3 2016. We quickly learned that there would be absolutely no NX news, nor a Nintendo Direct / Digital Event. Zelda Wii U is going to be playable, but it’ll be the only game at the show. Nintendo did say recently that its two-day Treehouse stream will feature Pokemon Sun/Moon, Pokemon GO, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, Monster Hunter Generations, and Dragon Quest VII in addition to Zelda.
Going into E3, how’s everyone feeling about things? Are you excited to finally get a good look at the new Zelda game? Are you bummed about the company’s approach to the expo this year? Is there anything you hope to see – be it an already-announced game or an announcement – during the Treehouse stream? Let us know in the comments below! We’ll reconvene next week – crazy to thing it’ll all be over by then!
Highlights from last week’s topic: Splatoon, one year later
It’s not too often that we let a silly post slip through the cracks, but hey: E3 is nearly here, and that’s all about good vibes and fun. So here’s a picture of Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime outside the LA Convention Center. His body is ready for E3.
Skylanders Imaginators will feature a whole bunch of characters. One of these is Ember, the fire-based Sensei of the Sentinel class.
Here’s an overview:
Ember was raised inside the Dragonfire Dojo, having come from a long line of Fire Sentinels that were skilled in the art of Dual-Blades. It was the dream of her father that Ember would follow their tradition and take over the family training facility, and so she practiced every day. She was naturally gifted, and soon even the greatest Dual-Blade Masters were no match for Ember. When Kaos heard of this, he took over her village and banned martial arts entirely, for fear of an uprising. But Ember fought back, unleashing an impressive barrage of Samurai pyrotechnics that drove the invaders away. Even though her village was free, she knew then that there was greater evil out there that needed to be stopped, and so she joined the Skylanders to train others in the art of the Sentinel Battle Class. One day though, Ember plans to return to her homeland and reopen her family’s school, but not until Skylands is safe once and for all.
And a video:
It’s expected that Ember will be offered for the second wave of Skylanders Imaginators figures.
Splatoon’s latest European Splatfest is now up and running. This time around, the theme asked players if their dream trip would be a world tour or a space adventure.
Like most Splatfests, this event will run for a full day. The results will be made available soon after.
