Bertil Hörberg has shared a couple of more tidbits about the Gunman Clive HD Collection. The digital package, which was recently announced for Wii U, contains Gunman Clive as well as Gunman Clive 2.

According to Hörberg, Gunman Clive HD Collection will support a few different control schemes. This includes the Pro Controller, Wii Remote, and Wii Remote + nunchuck combination, and Classic Controller (along with the GamePad of course).

Regarding pricing, Hörberg said that Gunman Clive HD Collection will be “slightly less than the combined standard price for both games”, but more than Gunman Clive 2 on 3DS. That means it should be less than $5, but more than $3.

This Thursday, Mercenaries Saga 2 is heading to the North American 3DS eShop. The game’s trailer can be seen below.

Star Fox Command was one of the latest Virtual Console games to hit the North American Wii U eShop. View some footage from the DS title below.

A couple of weeks back, Life of Pixel made its way to the North American Wii U eShop. We now have some footage of the game, which you can find below.

Nintendo World Report has captured 13 minutes of footage from Xeodrifter’s Wii U version. Check it out in the video below.

Circle Entertainment’s next game for 3DS is “Mercenaries Saga 2”. A listing on the eShop confirms that the title is due out on July 2 in North America. At launch, it will cost $4.99.

Here’s the official overview from the eShop:

Claude is the captain of the Kingdom’s Order of the Silver Eagle. One day while he guarded Prince Laz’s hunting session, an assassin appeared. Claude covers the prince’s escape and stops the assassin, but it was just a trap and the prince has been poisoned by a blade.

To aid the prince, Claude has to lead the Silver Eagle north so that they can find the only antidote – an Erni Herb…

Mercenaries Saga 2 is a tactical strategy RPG based on a fantasy world’s stage.

Battles engage in a quarter view map and tactics vary from different terrain. Characters can take advantage from standing position to assist each other and attack enemies’ backs.

Use acquired points to learn new skill and change class, level up by free battle, full repeatable gameplay is possible.

New comments about Super Mario Maker have come in from producer Takashi Tezuka and director Yosuke Oshino. Between the two, they talked about the updated name, how the project stemmed from a Mario Paint idea, fly swatting, and the possibility of a Zelda Maker.

A report coming from Fortune claims that Nintendo “just started talking” about the NX with third-parties at E3 2015. The site goes on to say that the reception “was positive” based on what was heard from insiders.

Here’s the relevant excerpt:

The problem for Nintendo is the NX’s launch is at least a year away—likely more, as the company reportedly just started talking about it with third party partners at this year’s E3. (The reception, say insiders, was positive.)

Even assuming Fortune’s report is accurate, don’t expect to hear about NX anytime soon. Nintendo has said that the system will not be unveiled until next year.

Pac-Man ended up in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS as one of the new roster additions. He’s also one of the few third-party characters in the game. But had things not gone Sakurai’s way, it’s possible that Pac-Man wouldn’t have been included in Smash.

In an interview coming from “Think About the Video Games” published earlier this month, Sakurai discussed how he pushed for Pac-Man’s old school design. If he wasn’t allowed to use it and instead needed to feature the version from Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, he “thought about dropping Pac-Man altogether.”

He said:

Pac-Man’s design was updated in a 2013 CGI cartoon titled, “Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures.” This new design has been used in a variety of products. But in the end I felt that his old-school design was better, and used that in the design plan. If that was rejected, I thought about dropping Pac-Man altogether.
