Update: Bumped to the top. It now looks like The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth’s European release will be taking place in October.
EU players, according to NOE there's not enough time from last week (when we asked) to Sept 10th to push Isaac live. Looks like Oct. now

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth could be launching in Europe as soon as next week. On Twitter, Nicalis’ Tyrone Rodriguez said that the game has been submitted with a September 10 release date. That date will stick so long as Nintendo approves it.
Rodriguez’s tweet is as follows:
Submitted September 10th as the desired EU release date to NOE. Waiting for approval from NOE on the date

Quite a few of you have been asking about The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth in Europe, and thankfully its release isn’t too far away. If anything changes, we’ll let you know.
A couple of days ago, we posted the updated North American boxart for Zelda: Tri Force Heroes. We now have the European equivalent, which gives us a good look at the illustration as a whole. Check it out above.
We have a handful of screenshots from the English version of Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. Today’s images are included in the gallery below.
Nintendo will soon be starting its latest promotional effort for Super Mario Mario known as the “Super Creator Challenge”. Recently, the company gathered five teams together and gave them the challenge of creating levels to compete for the title of Super Creator.
You can watch a preview video for the Super Creator Challenge below. Fans will be able to see all five levels tomorrow and vote for their favorite.
Nintendo has uploaded three North American commercials for Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. Each one can be seen above.
Update 3 (9/1): Bumped to the top. The Hyrule Edition New 3DS XL bundle has sold out as well.
Update 2: The Hyrule Edition New 3DS XL has sold out. However, GameStop is now selling a bundle with Zelda: Tri Force Heroes for $240.
Update: You can reserve the Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer New 3DS bundle on GameStop here. Additionally, the Hyrule Edition New 3DS XL can be reserved here. If you’re having issues with GameStop’s pages, try adding either system to your cart through the search page here.
Here’s a small image of the latter system:
Original (8/31): The standard New 3DS is finally coming to North America, Nintendo announced at the GameStop Managers Conference today.
Nintendo will be offering the system as part of a bundle with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. Included in the package is the New 3DS, the game, two cover plates, and one amiibo cards. Pricing is set at $219.99. Just like Happy Home Designer, the new bundle launches on September 25.
In other news, a Hyrule Edition New 3DS XL system will be sold exclusively in GameStop stores on October 30 for $199.99. It’s gold-colored and features an intricate Hylian Crest on the front.
Nintendo also reconfirmed news that we heard earlier today: Bowser and Toad Wii Remote Plus controllers are due out on September 11, while the Yoshi version will arrive on October 16. All three are GameStop exclusives and cost $39.99 each. Consumers can add $10 to their eShop accounts and get the new Bowser AR card at no additional cost, which can be used in the free Photos with Mario app.
Head past the break for today’s full announcement.
Amazon has no plans to hold pre-orders for the upcoming amiibo, a representative from the retailer has confirmed. All of the figures will simply be added to Amazon’s website on September 11 during normal business hours. Given how the wave 4 and Palutena amiibo were handled, this news shouldn’t come as a big surprise.
We now have the European boxart for Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash – see above. Like in North America, consumers will have the option to purchase the standalone game or an amiibo bundle.
Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash arrives in Europe on November 6.
As expected, the 30th Anniversary Mario Modern Color amiibo will be exclusive to Walmart in Canada. That information comes from one of the retailer’s latest circular. Chances are that this figure will be exclusive in North America as well, but we’ll keep you updated.
It also seems that the Dr. Mario amiibo is a Walmart exclusive in Canada. In the Unitd States, the figure is only available at Target.
