The final week is upon us (well… those of you in the North America), we’ll all be creating these moments in-game soon and it’ll be us picking up the slack for Sakurai on Miiverse!
One of the big selling points of the Nintendo DS was its ability to render things in both 2D AND 3D. Wow! I mean sure developers could pull off polygons on the Game Boy Advance, but they probably shouldn’t have.
Like the jump from the 16-bit to 32-bit/64-bit consoles, the games on the DS contained a mix of art styles that don’t all hold up particularly well, but there are certain titles that overcome the low resolution of the console and deliver an experience that looks pretty darn nice. Consider this the top 10 least ugly games on the console, as voted by you:
It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart! Final Fantasy XV, Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, Final Fantasy Explorers, Persona 5, and Bravely Second are the new top five.
Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between October 30 and November 5.
BREAKING NEWS: DK Bongos work with Super Smash Bros Wii U! #SSB4 https://t.co/WZMiqPnhQL
— Ben Bertoli (@SuperBentendo) November 16, 2014
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U supports a whole bunch of controllers. You can use a GameCube controller, the GamePad, the 3DS, the Wii Remote, and more.
As it turns out, the DK Bongos are also supported! You know, those controllers that were made for Donkey Konga and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat for the GameCube. Players can use the DK Bongos by plugging them in via the new GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U.
Monster Hunter Frontier G will soon be receiving a fresh collaboration with Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Capcom is providing weapons and costumes based on the franchise as well as a special in-game event. View a short trailer above.
Nintendo’s updated amiibo website gives a complete overview about the compatibility of the different figures in Hyrule Warriors.
Here’s a look as to what’s posted on the site:
Tap the Link amiibo figure to receive a new weapon to use in battle: the Spinner from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess game.
Tap the Zelda amiibo figure once per day to get a weapon rated 3 stars or higher.
Tap any other amiibo figure once per day to get a weapon rated 3 starts or lower, Rupee bonus or crafting material bonus.
Hyrule Warriors will receive an update later this month for added amiibo functionality.
