Along with the screenshots above, The Pokemon Company passed along the following information about Diancie:

The Pokémon Company International revealed a newly discovered Pokémon from the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y video games, Rock- and Fairy-type Pokémon, Diancie! Diancie is an extremely rare Mythical Pokémon, a special Pokémon that cannot be found during normal gameplay. Known to boast the greatest beauty in all the world, Diancie’s body glitters pink, captivating the hearts of many. During battle, Diancie can produce a great volume of diamonds instantaneously by compressing air between its hands. It uses these diamonds to attack enemies and protect itself.

Details on how Pokémon X and Pokémon Y players can get Diancie will be shared at a later date. In the meantime, a brand-new trailer featuring the Mythical Pokémon in action is available to post on your site. Official character art and screenshots of Diancie are also being made available for the first time, today.

With less than a day to go in its campaign, Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians has been funded on Kickstarter. Total funds on the site have exceeded $600,000.

Unfortunately, with such little time remaining, the game won’t be able to reach its 3DS stretch goal. Playdek had been seeking $1.5 million in order to make a portable version for Nintendo’s system.

So what’s Unsung Story’s future on 3DS? Is there still a chance of it happening even without the 3DS stretch goal target having been met? That might just be wishful thinking on my part, but we’ll see.

Anyone in Europe who entered into Nintendo’s “Join Nintendo Network Promotion”, check your e-mails right now! Nintendo of Europe and Australia have started to send out free download codes for the Game Boy Color classic, Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, provided you registered a Nintendo Network ID to your Nintendo 3DS before the 31st of February. Now you can enjoy one of the best platformers on the console, just with no Game Boy Printer support and controls that make it almost unplayable. Strangely, the game is absent from the 3DS eShop outside of the promotion, which seems like a missed opportunity.
