As of late, we’ve been hearing about quite a few 3DS games that have been pushed back in Japan. Game Center CX 3 is the latest title to be suffering a delay. Namco Bandai has moved the game’s release date back from January 23 to March 20.

While it should hardly be a surprise, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt isn’t planned for Wii U. CD Projekt Red Community manager Marcin Momot told

When asked if a Wii U version of The Witcher 3 could be in the cards, Momot said that the team is “focused on developing the game for PS4, Xbox One and PC.”

Momot’s quote in full:

At this moment we are not planning to release The Witcher 3 on Wii U. We are focused on developing the game for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Best Buy has lowered the price of a few 3DS/DS games. Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, and Pokemon Quest are currently available at lower prices. You’ll find links to each below.

Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion – $9.99 (update: price-matched on Amazon)
Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask – $19.99
Pokemon Conquest – $19.99

While we’re on the topic of deals, I’ll also mention that Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei IV deal is now live on Amazon.

Update 2: Target can’t seem to get its facts straight! The retailer now says the price will be honored after all.

Update: Turns out Nintendo’s information was incorrect. Target says the Zelda 3DS XL bundle won’t be offered for $150, but all other standard models will be.

Original:

Target is giving consumers all of the reasons in the world to pick up the Zelda 3DS XL bundle on Black Friday. Starting on November 28, it’ll be available for just $149.99. Most retailers have been selling it for $220 out of the gate. The deal ends on November 30.

Super Mario 3D World’s first week sales from Japan are in. Unfortunately, they’re not too hot.

Nintendo sold just over 100,000 copies of Super Mario 3D World in Japan last week. With roughly 107,000 copies in the hands of gamers, it’s the lowest debut for a 3D Mario game.

Here’s how Super Mario 3D World stacks up to other 3D entries:

1) Super Mario Galaxy 2 – 337,569 (1,032,853 total)
2) Super Mario 3D Land – 344,698 (1,861,023 total)
3) Super Mario Sunshine – 280,610 (789,989 total)
4) Super Mario Galaxy – 256,341 (1,025,664 total)
5) Super Mario 64* – 162,113 (1,639,914 total)
6) Super Mario 64 DS* – 120,062 (1,231,535 total)
7) Super Mario 3D World – 106,967

* Launch title

Of course, there are some things to consider here, such as the Wii U’s very low install base. Mario 3D World will also likely be one of Nintendo’s titles that continues to sell continuously over the next few years.
