In Japan, a pretty big update has been released for the arcade game Mario Kart Arcade GP DX. This adds new courses such as Pac-Man Stadium and Namco Circuit while also improving the user interface and making the versus mode more enjoyable.

First, below are details on Pac-Man Stadium and Namco Circuit:

Pac-Man Stadium

A course glittering with neons, with the Pacman statue leaving the most impressions. It’s a technical course with many sharp curves. In order to progress smoothly, players will need to memorize the order of curves, and spin the handle in a rhythmical pattern accordingly.

Namco Circuit

A circuit that looks like a history museum of Namco games. There are many straight lines and loose curves, making it a course with high-speed battles. Use the acceleration area gimmicks well to instantly widen the gap against rivals.

Bandai Namco has come out with two more My Hero Academia: Battle for All character trailers. Check out videos for Tsuyu Asui and Minoru Mineta below, along with a commercial.

Bandai Namco has gone live with the very first trailer for Dragon Ball: Fusions. You can give it a look below.

Update: Maintenance has now ended. In North America, players will need to download an updated patch to play online. This should presumably fix issues with online worldwide play.

Pokken Tournament is affected by emergency maintenance at the moment. The game’s network services went down a few hours ago, and have not returned since. We’ll update this post when everything is back up and running.

Pokken Tournament version 1.2 is currently making it impossible for those in North America to play with others outside of the region. These users are not getting matched is because Shadow Mewtwo’s light pillar in field phase operates differently compared to the rest of the world. Since there are two versions of Shadow Mewtwo, the North American servers are unable to handle the conflicting data.

We’ll keep tabs on the situation. If the situation is fixed, we’ll be sure to let you know.
