Capcom has released the third Randst Magazine for The Great Ace Attorney in Japan. This features a short episode set during episode 4, a Mikotoba Susato 3DS theme, Shu Takumi commentary video about episode 1, and Sherlock Holems concept art (with voice clips) and comments from character designer Kazuya Nuri.

Pricing for the Randst Magazine is set at 300 yen. Fans can also purchase a bundle containing all issues for 2,000 yen. The fourth issue launches next week.

When Square Enix unveiled Dragon Quest XI earlier this week, we saw that the game featured two perspectives. The top screen showed the game in 3D, while the touchscreen had a classic sprite look.

This week’s issue of Jump shares more about how this element works. It turns out that Dragon Quest XI only shows both perspectives during the game’s intro scenes. After that, you need to settle on either 3D or 2D, though the looks can be switched at any time.

Capcom has just announced a brand new New 3DS XL bundle to be released in-tandem with Monster Hunter X exclusively in Japan later this year.

The bundle will include the usual with your standard 3DS packaging, such as AR Cards, Manuals, and a 4GB microSD card. Outside of the standard items that comes with your typical 3DS box, you’ll also be getting:

  • An exclusive Monster Hunter X stylus
  • A physical copy of Monster Hunter X
  • Specially designed Monster Hunter X New 3DS XL

This special bundle will be sold alongside its standalone counterpart for ?26,000 in Japan when the game releases on November 28th.

This week’s issue of Famitsu has a first look at Monster Strike on 3DS. There are debut screenshots of the game as well as a few details.

Famitsu reports that the 3DS version of Monster Strike features the same story and characters as the anime adaptation. Players will be able to explore a 3D field and complete quests. It’s an RPG with a strong adventure element. Just like in the anime, the main character uses a smartphone.

Famitsu might be sharing more details about Monster Strike in its next issue. However, that information could be exclusively about the anime. We’ll see!
