Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Nopon Archsage

Nintendo and Monolith Soft have introduced the Nopon Archsage, who will be featured in Wave 2 of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass and ties into Challenge Battles.

Challenge Battles are accessible by walking up to a portal located in Llyn Nyddwr. This can be found in the Fornis Region, specifically Ribbi Flats. After entering the portal, you’ll end up in the Land of Challenges. The Nopon Archsage is here and there’s more to him than meets the eye. He’s voiced by Akio Ootsuka in the Japanese version – that’s actually the same person who voiced Consul Z.

Monolith Soft boss and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 executive director Tetsuya Takahashi has weighed in on the game’s nations of Keves and Agnus, world of Aionios, and main cast of characters. Takahashi left a lengthy message in the art book included with the special edition that was recently made available to fans.

Here’s the message in full:

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Ino introduction

Ino is less than a week away from joining Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and we now have a few details about the character thanks to a post shared on social media today.

Ino was seemingly created by the Great Nopon – the tweet does not specify who this is. Interestingly, she introduces herself as an “Artificial Blade”, though Noah and his friends remain suspicious of her. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 fans may point to Tora as the one behind Ino, though that isn’t confirmed at this time.

Xenoblade 3 interview Noah Harry McEntire

Nintendo Everything recently had the opportunity to speak with Harry McEntire, who played the role of Noah in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. The RPG has been one of the biggest games of the year, and many fans would say that McEntire had a memorable performance.

During our discussion, we talked about the challenges involved, what was most memorable to record, and interest in returning to the role of Noah in the future. You can read our full interview below.

Xenoblade 3 difficulty differences

Nintendo Everything has created a new difficulty guide for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which covers the differences between the options and more.

The game can be quite difficult to get into; the experience can be overwhelming, with the battle system being a particularly hectic element that new players have to contend with. However, Monolith Soft has implemented several different difficulty options in the game to combat this, whether you just want to cruise through the story or you want to challenge yourself to some more grueling fights – though sadly, the game doesn’t really detail what the differences between these Easy/Normal/Hard difficulties are beyond a basic “makes the game easier/more balanced/harder” text box. Hopefully this guide can clear that up for you, providing some actual numbers as well as some advice for picking between these three difficulty modes.

Nintendo has provided a new set of screenshots from the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass DLC Vol. 2.

Ino, a girl who looks mechanical, will be included as a Hero. Players that complete her quest can unlock her as a new Hero. Challenge Battles will also be added, and accessories and special outfits can be earned by challenging stronger and stronger enemies.

Nintendo and Monolith Soft have provided details about upcoming DLC for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 as part of the game’s Expansion Pass. Wave 2 launches October 13.

Ino will be available as a new Hero, and players can complete her request to have her join their party. Challenge Battles will also be added with consecutive battles against tough enemies. Accessories and special outfits can be earned by challenging stronger and stronger enemies.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 still has two more DLC drops to go. One of these, which is due out by April 30, includes a Challenge Battle mode against difficult enemies, a new hero character and accompanying quests, and new character outfits. The final DLC is planned to launch by the end of 2023 and is comprised of a brand new story scenario.
