Nintendo Switch Sports update 1.2.2

The latest Nintendo Switch Sports update has gone live, with players now having access to version 1.2.2. The patch notes have also been shared, though they’re about what we expected.

As previously mentioned, Nintendo issued today’s update in order to address an issue that started last week with the last version of Switch Sports. After installing version 1.2.1, some players were encountering crashes in both online and local multiplayer matches. Nintendo went as far as to temporarily take down the online servers and stop distribution of the previous update. Another patch is following later in the week to ensure that the problems have been addressed for all players.

Switch Sports crashes 1.2.1 pulled

Nintendo Switch Sports version 1.2.1 released this week, but it’s no longer available for download.

Soon after distribution of the patch started, some players encountered an error that causes the game to crash while a match was being loaded. This not only impacted online play, but offline modes as well.

Catlateral Damage: Remeowstered update 1.1.4

Catlateral Damage: Remeowstered recently received a new update, bringing the game to version 1.1.4.

The patch is highlighted by the addition of two new cats: Oreo and Pandora. Adjustments and fixes are also included.

Minecraft update version 1.20

Today, Mojang shared the first details about the next major update for Minecraft, version 1.20. It will launch sometime in 2023. Mojang will be using the time until release to shape the update throughout the development process and gain input from the community.

Although a name for the update hasn’t been shared, we do know what the theme is. It’s intended to enable self-expression through representation.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 update 1.2.0

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 just received its new version 1.2.0 update, and as part of that, wave 2 of the game’s DLC has gone live.

As a reminder, the next wave of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC is primarily comprised of two elements. The first aspect is Ino, a new Hero with an additional quest. Challenge Battles are also included in which players can earn accessories and special outfits by taking on tough enemies.

The third wave of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass, comprised of more Challenge Battles, a new Hero, and outfits will be live by April 2023. A new story scenario for the game will follow by the end of 2023 and concludes all DLC.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak update 12.0.1

Capcom just released a new update for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, and version 12.0.1 is now available on Switch.

The update includes unauthorized Anomaly Investigations countermeasures, a fix for a Switch save data size error, and  changes to repeated gesture and pose inputs. Other fixes and adjustments are included as well.

TOEM Basto

Original (9/12): In celebration of TOEM’s first anniversary, Something We Made is readying a new update for the game that will add the brand new Basto region.

This is said to be the game’s biggest region yet. It features new quests, secrets, mini-games, and animals to photograph.

Pikmin Bloom update 55.0

Niantic has issued a new version 55.0 update for Pikmin Bloom.

One of the additions is that users can send postcards in the weekly challenge screen. On top of that, it’s possible to see all of the Mii items available in the shop in the Mii editor. Finally, speaking of Miis, players can try on Mii items in the shop and easily access the Mii editor.

Tropico: Nintendo Switch Edition update 1.0.5

A major 1.5.0 update has gone live for Tropico: Nintendo Switch Edition.

Included in the patch is new content, including new maps, the helpful Resource Overview, the “Secure Mansion“, new modern military building, the “Overwatchtower”, and more. With the Overwatchtower, players have the ability to uncover hidden roles of passing Tropicans. Lots of improvements and bug fixes are also available.
