The Ice Climbers are not included on the final roster for Super Smash Bros. on 3DS/Wii U. However, there does appear to be some last remnant of them in the 3DS version.

A glitch has been discovered in the Japanese release that results in a “Nana, Popo” chant. This can be heard by playing as Villager and defeating at least two Dr. Marios at once with 100% damage.

For what it’s worth, it doesn’t look like the glitch can be replicated in the US version of the game.

Initial sales of Smash Bros. 3DS compare favorably to its predecessor, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. That title sold 819,6467 copies at launch with a 94.37 percent sell-through rate.

Nintendo is celebrating its 125th birthday today having been established way back on September 23, 1889 (just turned 12 AM in Japan a few minutes ago). Congrats to the Big N!

As many of you know, Nintendo wasn’t a video game company in its early years. Nintendo started out as a card company before getting involved with other ventures like taxis, love hotels, a TV network, food, toys, and more.
