Nintendo million sellers – May 2020 – Animal Crossing: New Horizons at over 13 million and more

Update: Separately from highlighting its normal million sellers, Nintendo has revealed that over 13 million copies have been sold through six weeks. The original 11.77 million number, and everything else below, is for data received through March 31.
Original: Thanks to Nintendo’s latest financial results, we’re able to get a look at the company’s latest million sellers.
Undoubtedly the biggest highlight is Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Nintendo says that, as of March 31, the game sold almost 12 million copies worldwide. That’s a massive amount, especially considering that the game dropped on March 20.

Bandai Namco and Arc System Works today revealed that Ultra Instinct Goku is joining Dragon Ball FighterZ on May 22.

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath announced – RoboCop, Fujin, and Sheeva coming plus more

Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have announced Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, a major expansion to the original game.
Aftermath is highlighted by “an all-new cinematic narrative centered around trust and deceit.” Fujin and Sheeva, as well as guest character RoboCop, will all be included.

EA to release multiple titles on Switch this year

During its financial results call a short while ago, EA provided an update on its plans going forward. Although no specifics were shared, the company revealed that it will release multiple titles on Switch this year.
EA currently has one confirmed upcoming game for Switch. As previously announced, Burnout Paradise Remastered launches June 19.
EA has brought FIFA titles to Switch since 2017, and that could continue this year. It also published Fe and Unravel Two. We spotted a rating for Unravel 1 in Brazil last month.

Retro Studios is known for its top-tier work on the Metroid Prime and Donkey Kong Country franchises. However, many years ago, it seems that the developer could have been exploring other notable Nintendo franchises as well.
Concept art has emerged from former Retro Studios pre-production artist Sammy Hall. Hall shared images online of art from Zelda and Mario projects that would have featured Sheik and Boo.
