Back in February, Bethesda and Panic Button updated the Switch version of Doom. One of the highlights was an additional control scheme, allowing players to take advantage of gyro motion aiming.

Wolfenstein II is another first-person shooter Bethesda and Panic Button are bringing to Switch. Fans will be happy to hear that the optional gyro motion aiming will be making a return. Even better, it will be there from the start, so we won’t have to wait for an update to add in the feature.

Wolfenstein II

After we saw the first off-screen footage yesterday, a bunch of direct-feed gameplay has come in for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on Switch. View 25 minutes of footage below.

SNK 40th Anniversary Collection is coming to Switch, SNK and NIS America announced during a panel at PAX East 2018 today. Digital Eclipse (Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection) is working on the project.

The following games are confirmed thus far:

A special SNK panel will soon be kicking off at PAX East 2018. SNK Heroines director Kaito Soranaka, veteran artist Naoto Abe, and other SNK staff are on hand for the 40th anniversary celebration. The panel will feature announcements, including the next character for SNK Heroines.

Nintendo has published a big developer interview with some of the key team members behind Nintendo Labo. Nintendo Labo director Tsubasa Sakaguchi, Switch director / Nintendo Labo producer Kouichi Kawamoto, and Nintendo Labo hardware lead Mr. Ogasawara were brought in for the discussion.

The interview is really worth a read, as it covers how Nintendo Labo came to be, the struggles the team encountered (including disastrous consumer tests), changes that were made, and a whole lot more. Also, as a sidenote, we have confirmation that Tsubasa Sakaguchi moved on from Splatoon as one of the original game’s co-directors to Nintendo Labo.

A massive patch is on the way to Brawlout. Angry Mob Games has shared the full details, which includes a Ranked Mode, video capture, and a whole lot more.

No word yet on when the update is going live, but version 1.3 should be out soon since it’s been submitted to Nintendo. Read the full patch notes below.

Way back in 1989, Toki (otherwise known as Juju Densetsu) was released in arcades. Today, Microids has announced a collaboration with Philippe Dessoly and Pierre Adane to remake the game for Switch.

On Switch, Toki will feature completely reworked graphics. It’s not immediately clear if other changes or additions will be present.

The Toki remake arrives on Switch later this year. We have the full announcement below.
