Streets of Rage 4 revealed
Posted on 6 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch eShop | 0 comments
SEGA’s classic Streets of Rage series is seeing a revival with Streets of Rage 4, Lizardcube, Guard Crush Games and Dotemu have announced. A release date and platforms have not been confirmed as of yet.
Typically we hold off on news about brand new titles unless we receive confirmation about it being bound for a Nintendo system. However, given the companies involved here, we do believe a Switch release will happen. This game comes from Dotemu and Lizardcube – the publisher and developer of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap respectively. Considering how well that title did on the eShop, it seems certain that Streets of Rage 4 will be on Switch.

A new rating for Blaster Master Zero has popped up on the ESRB. Rather than Inti Creates, Nicalis is listed as the game’s publisher. You know what that means: Blaster Master Zero is very likely getting a physical release.
Assuming the title does go physical, one logical possibility is that all DLC characters will be included. Nicalis will likely pack in some extra goodies as well.

Detective Pikachu will be the very first, official live-action Pokemon movie. Yet even though Ash Ketchum has largely been associated with the series thanks to the anime, the film will feature a different character instead.
When asked by IGN why Ash Ketchum isn’t in the movie, director Rob Letterman explained:
Starlink dev on what it was like pitching the Star Fox collaboration to Nintendo and Miyamoto

Developers of Starlink: Battle for Atlas have often explained how the Star Fox collaboration came to be. After the game was first shown at last year’s E3, executives and developers from Nintendo ended up seeing it behind closed doors. Nintendo obviously liked what it saw, as the Starlink team was invited to Japan to pitch a potential collaboration.
Creative director Laurent Malville told Kotaku UK that as far as he’s aware, the collaboration was Nintendo’s idea. He also spoke about what it was like pitching the potential partnership to Nintendo and Shigeru Miyamoto:

amiibo listings on Best Buy Canada may give some information about one way in which some characters can be unlocked in Smash Bros. Ultimate. Information included within pages for Wolf, Inkling Girl, and Ridley mention tapping their figures to add them to your game.
