NIS America is localizing The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince for North America and Europe, the company announced today. A release is planned for 2019.
The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince first launched in Japan this past May.

Nintendo has set a release date for The World Ends with You: Final Remix in the west. North America and Europe are both getting the game on October 12.
Previously, Square Enix announced a release date of September 27 for Japan.

Update: The Valkyria Chronicles 4 demo and pre-load are now live on the eShop.
Original: SEGA has passed along some notable news about Valkyria Chronicles 4. Along with a demo, digital pre-orders will be live later today. SEGA actually says that both are live now, but we’re not seeing anything just yet – that should change when the eShop updates in a couple of hours.

The Art of Bravely Default coming west in February 2019

Original (8/6): The Art of Bravely Default will finally be receiving a release in the west. That’s according to Amazon, which lists a February 2019 release for the book.

Square Enix on Octopath Traveler exceeding expectations, can expect similar games in the future

Square Enix held its own conference for financial results earnings earlier today. The company had quite a bit to say about the performance of Octopath Traveler.
The new Switch RPG had sales stronger than Square Enix’s pre-sales forecast. Moreover, it exceeded expectations especially in the United States and Europe. The game also saw higher-than-average ratio of download version vs. packaged.

Bravely series Twitter account might be teasing another game

Last week, Square Enix and Nintendo announced that Octopath Traveler reached the milestone of one million copies shipped worldwide so far. They did so by posting the illustration below, which people quickly noticed looked a lot like a piece of artwork of Airy from the Bravely Default series:

Cooler is joining Dragon Ball FighterZ, Bandai Namco announced at EVO 2018 today. A new trailer showing the character in action and more can be found below.
Bandai Namco has not yet said when Cooler will be available in Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild added to the series’ official timeline, but not connected

Nintendo has issued a new version of the Zelda timeline on the series’ official portal. The big addition is that Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been placed at the very end. However, it is not connected to any of the three timelines.

Nefarious coming to Switch later this year

Our coverage of Nefarious goes way back to 2014. The game was funded on Kickstarter, and was originally planned for Wii U. There was some consideration about moving to Switch last January. StarBlade also said a few months later that it was solving “technical hurdles” on Wii U.
At this point, you’d have to think that Nefarious won’t come to Wii U. However, the game will still end up on a Nintendo console – that being Switch.
