Switch was thought to add five games at launch. Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 1-2-Switch, Super Bomberman R, Skylanders Imaginators, and Just Dance 2017 should be there day one. However, it now looks like we have another launch game: The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+.

In an update on the official website from Nicalis’ Tyrone Rodriguez, he writes:

“By now you’ve hopefully heard that The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is coming to Nintendo Switch in retail form. What does it mean?

It means that there is more than just The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on launch. Afterbirth+ will be available at retail as well as on the Nintendo eShop for $39.99 and will include Rebirth, Afterbirth and Afterbirth+ packed together as one game.”

Rodriguez’s words are further backed up by a GameStop listing, which has it for March 3. Amazon lists it for December, but that’s more temporary than anything else. Since it’s a good game and the price is somewhat low, hopefully folks will be inclined to give The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ a shot.

Today’s Fire Emblem Direct will kick off in an hour from now. The broadcast is set to begin at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM in the UK / 11 PM in Europe. You can watch the presentation live below. We’ll also have new posts on the site for annoouncements.

Nintendo has indicated that we’ll at least be seeing its new Fire Emblem game for mobile. On top of that, we may hear something about Fire Emblem Warriors. The broadcast should be about 21 minutes long.

Ubisoft updated its official web page for Rayman Legends Definitive Edition. On it, new details about the game are shared.

Rayman Legends Definitive Edition will feature wireless local multiplayer. Up to four players can experience the game together. Additionally, Ubisoft says new features will be included in the Kung Foot mini-game.

The page goes on to mention the usage of Switch’s touch screen and gyroscope features:

“Rayman Legends takes full advantage of the Nintendo Switch and its new controllers capabilities. Undock your Switch device and use the touch screen to take out enemies, manipulate platforms, cut ropes to clear a path and much more. With the gyroscope technology, you can move rotating platform and there are many more surprises to come!”

Rayman Legends Definitive Edition will come out on Switch later this year.
