Daemon x Machina was given the spotlight during today’s Nintendo Direct with a release date. The game launches September 13, Nintendo announced.

Trials of Mana

During today’s Nintendo Direct, Square Enix announced Trials of Mana for Switch. The action RPG launches early 2020.

Also, More than two years after it was released in Japan, Collection of Mana is coming west. Square Enix announced the package for North America and Europe in its press conference today. It releases today.

Nintendo set a final release date for the Switch remake of Zelda: Link’s Awakening today. In the new Nintendo Direct, it was announced that the game will be available on September 20. There also will be a dungeon arrangement aspect, as shown below.

Luigi's Mansion 3

Today’s E3 2019 Nintendo Direct provided an update Luigi’s Mansion 3. Here are some new details:

– Things take a dark turn after Luigi arrives in the hotel
– Can slam a ghost on the ground to inflict damage
– Suction shot capability to destroy furniture and more
– This is effective against certain ghost types
– Gooigi function: can slip through metal fences, walk on spikes
– Friend can play with co-op
– ScareScraper Mode is in, local/online play
– Defeat all ghosts before time runs out

As was promised for today’s Nintendo Direct, the next DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been revealed. The Hero from Dragon Quest XI will be added to the game. Additionally, you’ll be able to play as other heroes from the Dragon Quest series. A release is planned for this summer.

As we just found out a few minutes ago, Activision and Beenox are planning free bonus seasonal content for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled with Grand Prix in-game offerings post launch. As part of this, it’s been confirmed that Spyro will be joining the game. We have a look at the upcoming content roadmap above.

The E3 2019 press conferences and presentations are closing out with a final broadcast from Nintendo. Today’s Nintendo Direct goes live at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM in the UK / 6 PM in Europe.

Nintendo has been quiet on what will be shown here aside from a focus on 2019 titles. That means you’ll likely be hearing more about games such as Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Pokemon Sword/Shield, and Astral Chain. A new announcement or two is probably in the cards as well.

Following the original leak a few days ago, Bandai Namco has officially announced Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch for Switch. The RPG will launch on September 20.

As previously mentioned, Ni no Kuni for Switch will be more along the lines of a port from the PlayStation 3 version. Other platforms will be receiving a “Remastered” version with improved resolution and performance. The Switch version will run at 720p and 30 frames per second.

Disgaea 4 Complete+ is coming to Switch, NIS America just announced. The tactical RPG will launch sometime this fall.

Square Enix announced Final Fantasy VIII Remastered earlier tonight. We now have a little bit of information as to what’s new.

First, the game can be sped up by 3x in 3x speed mode (excluding movies). There’s also a battle assist mode that maxes out your HP and Active Time Meters, as well as lets you use specials at any time. Square Enix lists being able to turn random encounters on/off as a feature as well. Finally, Square Enix has mentioned “overhauled visuals”.
