Wizard of Legend celebrates selling 500K copies with update and discount

Wizard of Legend, the co-op magic action game just released in May for Switch, has hit the 500,000 sales mark. To mark the occasion, the game is on sale for 10% off and is receiving an update called Nocturna, which adds a new NPC Wizard in Lanova Plaza, the ability to randomize Chaos Trial runs, and French, German, and Russian language support across all platforms. It also contains quality of life changes such as faster load times, better frame rate, and an updated Arcana system.

Spyro UK website lists Reignited Trilogy for Switch

Even though the US website for Spyro the Dragon only lists the upcoming Reignited Trilogy for PlayStation and Xbox, the UK site also features PC and Switch. Strangely, the Switch is even listed twice!
Spyro the Dragon has a release date of September 21, 2018, for PlayStation and Xbox. Obviously, there’s no release date set for the unannounced Switch version, assuming it’s real.
Niantic outlines 3-strike ban policy for Pokemon GO

Niantic has explained the 3-strike policy for players of Pokemon GO they’re using to clamp down on cheating. They define cheating as “behaviors that violate the Pokémon GO Terms of Service and Trainer Guidelines, such as falsifying location (GPS location spoofing) and accessing Pokémon GO clients or backends in an unauthorized manner, including through the use of third-party software or add-ons.”
Strike 1 is a warning, Strike 2 is a suspension, and Strike 3 is a termination of your account. Check out the policy for yourself below for more details.

Nitrome discusses its patch for Bomb Chicken, potential DLC, future games, and more

Nitrome, the developer behind Bomb Chicken, revealed a lot of interesting information in a Reddit AMA earlier today, where they shared that they’re currently working on a patch for Bomb Chicken to fix bugs and a Unity slowdown issue.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be playable at Evo 2018

The upcoming Super Smash Bros. entry for Switch will be featured at the Evolution Championship Series, or Evo for short. Its presence at the fighting games event further validates the series as an eSport.
Evo 2018 takes place between August 3 and August 5. Smash Bros. Ultimate will be located at Nintendo’s booth.
Octopath Traveler can be played with Japanese voice-overs

Runbow releasing physically in August

Runbow was recently made available on Switch as a digital download. But for those who are interested in a physical version, you won’t have to wait much longer for a boxed copy.
Headup Games announced today that Runbow is releasing physically on Switch in North America on August 14. The European launch will take place slightly earlier on August 10.
Here’s a description of the game:
