Capcom provided the latest news on Monster Hunter Rise updates during its E3 2021 showcase today.

A collaboration with Monster Hunter Stories 2 goes live on June 18. It will be followed by version 3.1 on June 24, which includes the following content:

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Capcom will release a demo for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin this month, the company has confirmed. It will go live on June 25. Progress can be transferred to the full game.

Also announced today is that an update for the game will add the Palamute from Monster Hunter Rise. The patch is slated for July 15.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania previously leaked through official classifications. After it first appeared in Australia, it was then just rated in Brazil.

If you needed any further confirmation of the game’s existence, first assets have now emerged. The boxart for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania can be found above. We also have first screenshots below.

BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites

Ziggurat Interactive and WayForward have announced BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites, a redone version of the 2011 hack-and-slash platformer. The two companies have not confirmed a release window at this time.

Originally released nearly three decades ago, Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties is returning on modern platforms. Limited Run Games has announced that the visual novel / dating sim is heading to Switch.

Limited Run didn’t share any additional information, but we’ll be surely hearing more in the months to come. We’ll bring you all of the news as it comes in.

Limited Run Games already worked with Konami on a physical version of Castlevania Anniversary Collection, and the two sides are teaming up again for Contra Anniversary Collection. The news was shared as part of Limited Run’s E3 2021 press conference today.

Specifics about the physical edition of Contra Anniversary Collection were not shared. Stay tuned for further details.

In partnership with Team17 and Aggro Crab, Limited Run Games is planning a physical version of Going Under. The company did not say when pre-orders will be going live, but we’ll continue our coverage in the future.

Going Under originally launched for Switch via the eShop last September.


Limited Run Games has announced another new physical release on Switch: RetroMania Wrestling. The title was previously eShop exclusive.

RWBY: Grim Eclipse, which recently debuted on the Switch eShop, has now been announced for physical release. Limited Run Games will be leading the way on boxed copies.

Limited Run hasn’t said when the physical version of RWBY: Grim Eclipse is launching, but we’ll be sure to bring you further news as it comes in.


Those who have yet to jump in on One Step From Eden may be interested to hear that a physical release in the cards. The news was shared during the Limited Run Games E3 2021 press conference today.
