2D platformer Rift Racoon hitting Switch next week

Eastasiasoft, Marcos Game Dev, and Ratalakia Games announced today that the 2D platformer Rift Racoon will arrive on Switch next week. A release is planned for May 12.

Grimorio of Games and JanduSoft, in collaboration with distributor Tesura Games, have announced a new physical release for Sword of the Necromancer. Fans can purchase either a standard copy or “Ultra Collectors Edition”.

Ninjala is quickly coming up on its first anniversary. It’s been a busy year for the Switch title between various updates, collaborations, and more.
Nintendo Everything was recently given an opportunity to catch up with Kazuki Morishita, the president and CEO of GungHo Online Entertainment as well as the game’s executive producer. Morishita spoke about collaborations (including the ones for Monster Hunter Rise and Sonic the Hedgehog), future plans, and more.

Game Builder Garage is digital-only in Europe

Nintendo has new programming software coming out on Switch next month. Just a few days ago, Game Builder Garage was unveiled for Switch.
Game Builder Garage will be offered physically in North America and Japan. In Europe though, it’s another story. This went a bit under the radar, but Nintendo’s release schedule from this week confirms that Game Builder Garage is digital-only in Europe. It’s currently unclear why that is.
Game Builder Garage is due out for Switch in June 11. Those in Europe that are interested in owning the title physically will need to import from another region.
