Kingdom of Arcadia

Eastasiasoft, Spoonbox Studio, and Ratalaika Games today revealed that they’re bringing the Metroidvania game Kingdom of Arcadia to Switch. A release is planned for April 14.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

When LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was first announced, it was targeted for a 2020 launch. Warner Bros. and TT Games would later push things back to Spring 2021.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is now seeing a second delay, with TT confirming that the title won’t be making it out this spring. A new release window was not provided.

A statement from TT reads:

Delicious! Pretty Girls Mahjong Solitaire is launching on Switch next week, eastasiasoft and ZOO Corporation announced today. It will be available on April 8.

Gemdrops has debuted a new trailer for COGEN: Sword of Rewind, its upcoming side-scrolling action-platformer. Watch it below.

NEO: The World Ends with You

Update: As a small tidbit, it’s been revealed that NEO: The World Ends With You is a sequel to The World Ends With You: The Animation, and takes place three years later. That news comes straight from director Tatsuya Kando.


Original: Square Enix will be sharing the latest on NEO: The World Ends with You next week. That’s according to the company’s Tetsuya Nomura, who provided the brief update on social media today.

News should be dropping on April 9 around the following times:

You may recall that Mario had a prominent appearance during the 2016 Summer Olympics. The character popped up during the closing ceremony, and Japan’s prime minister – complete with the plumber’s hat – even came out of a Warp Pipe.

Tokyo is set to host the latest Olympics, and it looks like there were some initial talks of featuring Mario again. Shukan Bunshun managed to obtain a nearly 300-page proposal for the event that ultimately wasn’t realized. It shows that an 8-bit Mario would have closed things out.

Sol Cresta

Following yesterday’s Sol Cresta announcement from PlatinumGames, the title now has a release window. The shoot ’em up game will launch on Switch in 2021, the studio has confirmed.

Additionally, based on a tweet from Platinum, Sol Cresta will be a digital download only.
