Octopath Traveler pre-load live, file size

The North American Switch eShop has started a pre-load option for Octopath Traveler. That means you can purchase the game in advance and download the required data ahead of time. Then at launch, you’ll only need to connect to the internet one time to begin playing.
Octopath Traveler takes up 2.9GB of space. The RPG launches July 13.

Koopa Troopa, Blooper will be available in Mario Tennis Aces in July / August tournaments

Nintendo revealed new details about playable characters in Mario Tennis Aces during its Treehouse stream today.
First up, Koopa Troopa can be earned early if you earn enough points in the July tournament. The character will also be available for everyone August 1.
Blooper will follow next as part of the August tournament. If you don’t participate or miss out on unlocking the character early, Nintendo will distribute it to all in September.

Another pre-order opportunity has just opened on Amazon. The Splatoon 2 Octoling amiibo, just announced yesterday, are live here. It will be sold only as a 3-pack in North America.
