The puzzle-platformer Projection: First Light is on the way to Switch, developer Shadowplay Studios and publisher Blowfish Studios announced today. A release is planned for Q2 2018.

Yesterday, Nintendo held a live stream at Milan Games Week and showed off Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Despite being the same area from Gamescom, it was an updated build, and new details were shared.

Yesterday we heard about a new Splatfest for Splatoon 2 in Japan. But strangely, this apparently wasn’t intended to be the new topic.

Nintendo said on the Japanese Splatoon Twitter page that the information only went out to certain users. Those who already signed up for the Splatfest – which was incorrect – will have their t-shirts returned. We’ll also be hearing about the next proper Splatfest for Japan towards the end of this week.

Rising Star Games recently said that Ninja Shodown would be coming soon to Switch. By soon, that could be just a few days from now. The North American Switch eShop lists the game for release on October 5.

Here’s an overview from the listing:

Koei Tecmo is bringing an Attack on Titan 2 game to Switch, but Spike Chunsoft is also releasing Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates for 3DS in Japan later this year. Confusing, right? In any case, a new commercial for the latter title can be found below.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu‘s most wanted games chart. Super Mario Odyssey moves up back a spot, with Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 maintaining their positions.

Since it’s October, that can only mean one thing: Super Mario Odyssey launches this month. Nintendo is celebrating with some special images.
