Best Buy has a one-day sale running on its website that discounts various items. You can save $25 on a few 3DS XL systems including the recently-released Smash Bros. models. Additionally, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is $10 off.
Again, this sale is only live for one day. Be sure to keep that in mind!
North America gets Swords & Soldiers 3D update next Thursday

Circle Entertainment will release an update for Swords & Soldiers 3D next Thursday, the company has announced. Once applied, players will find a better experience thanks to an improved frame rate. Circle has also added in the Super Saucy Sausage Fest story at no extra cost.
The update for the NA version of Swords & Soldiers 3D will be available on October 30th. Super Saucy Sausage Fest story is coming!

Bandai Namco’s new teaser site for Assassination Classroom: Grand Siege on Kurosensei can be found here. Three screenshots are included on the page, though they’re a bit difficult to see given how small they are. Other than that, there isn’t much to see currently!

New music and sound effects have been found in Donkey Kong despite the fact that the game was released over thirty years ago.
One user over on the Cutting Room wiki came across three pieces of music as well as two sound effects. Although these items were never publicly accessible, some have appeared in later games including handheld ports.

More Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS DLC speculation

There’s more talk going around about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS potentially supporting DLC.
Messages have apparently been found in the 3DS version that could be used to create data for downloadable content, for instance. Other recently-discovered code could allow for character and stage DLC to be loaded.
Rumor has it that the shop will be titled “Notifications Shop” – at least in Japanese.
Will any of this pan out? Will Smash Bros. actually get any DLC? Only time will tell…
