Unpacking getting a physical release on Switch

After its initial launch late last year, Unpacking is now getting a physical release on Switch. Limited Run Games is handling distribution.
Unpacking debuted on Switch back in November. However, thus far, it has only been available on the eShop.

Eastward physical release revealed for the west, including collector’s edition

When Eastward landed on Switch last year, it was accompanied by a physical version – but only in Japan. Now, however, Chucklefish and Pixpil have teamed up with iam8bit and Skybound Games for new boxed editions in the west.
What we’ll be seeing first is a standard release, which is planned for May 24, 2022. All copies include an exclusive Eastward chibi-style sticker.

Anuchard reaches Switch in April, new trailer

Anuchard, a civilization restoration action RPG, has received a final release date. Publisher Freedom Games and developer stellarNull announced today that the title is slated for April 14, 2022.
Anuchard was announced for Switch last November. The project had a vague 2022 launch window at the time.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 delayed to Spring 2023

Zelda: Breath of the Wild will not launch this year as originally expected. The game has been delayed to Spring 2023, series producer Eiji Aonuma has announced.
Aonuma and Nintendo as a were last targeting release sometime in 2022.

Chromatic Games today unveiled Dungeon Defenders: Going Rogue, a roguelite spin-off in the tower defense action RPG series. It’s seeing a surprise launch on Steam Early Access today, though it will be following on consoles later on.

Fortnite announces permanent Zero Build mode

Fortnite is today introducing a brand new mode known as Zero Build.
Up until now, one big aspect of the game has involved building. Players have been able to use their pickaxe to destroy structures on the map for resources. However, with Zero Build, that’s no longer a focus.

Best-selling game brands in UK history

GfK released new data today that reveals the 30 highest earning video game franchises in the UK history based on revenue earned from boxed sales. The report accounts for sales earned since 1995.
Mario comes in at #3 and is compromised of all sub-brands. 109 games are covered, but the biggest hits were Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 8, and New Super Mario Bros.
Pokemon Masters EX – Paulo Interlude: Justice Without Power new story event live now

A new part to the Main Story Villain Arc: Paulo Interlude has just been added to Pokemon Masters EX. This new content is titled “Justice without Power” and will follow Paulo as he seeks to acquire even greater strength in order to fulfill his ideals.
This is a permanent story addition to the game. In order to access this new content, two chapters of the Main Story Villain Arc must be completed on Normal difficulty.

Pokemon Masters EX update out now (version 2.19.0), patch notes

A new update has gone live for Pokemon Masters EX on Android and iOS. This brings the game to version 2.19.0 and it makes some revisions to egg-hatching mechanics as well as adding special voice-over lines for certain sync pair combinations.
