Posted on 9 years ago by Matt(@OnePunchMaz) in 3DS, News, Videos | 2 Comments
Today, Capcom updated the official Monster Hunter XX website. There’s not really any new info there that wasn’t covered in the latest Capcom TV footage or some recent magazine scans, but it’s a nice overview of what’s known so far; plus there’s some new artwork and screenshots to be found on the various pages of the website. Check it out, if you want to.
Capcom also sent out a tweet featuring a brief video of the new, barrel-using Renkin Style:
【MHXX】公式サイトでは新たな狩猟スタイル「ブレイヴスタイル」を紹介中!また、タルを振るようなこの新狩猟スタイルの名称は「レンキンスタイル」。詳細は続報をお待ちください!https://t.co/kHxWo0xclw #MHXX pic.twitter.com/4JU1rUZrb1

Monster Hunter Stories amiibo work with the English version of Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 4 Comments
With Animal Crossing: New Leaf’s new update, Nintendo added in compatibility with a bunch of amiibo. In the English Animal Crossing Direct broadcast earlier today, we heard about the likes of Splatoon and Zelda. However, in the Japanese presentation, the recently-released Monster Hunter Stories figures were specifically mentioned as well.
Even though Capcom’s Monster Hunter Stories amiibo are only being sold in Japan currently, they’re actually compatible with the English version of New Leaf. The text has been localized and everything. If you’ve imported any of the figures, they should work!

Rumor: Switch launching within the week of March 17
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Switch | 24 Comments
Laura Kate Dale from Lets Play Video Games may have some knowledge about Switch’s launch. She’s heard from a source that the PAL date is currently set for March 17 – meaning the day it would be out across Europe and Australia. As for other territories, while the release date won’t be uniform in all regions, Nintendo intends to ship Switch within the same week. Japan may have it a few days earlier.
Dale’s information comes from the same source who informed her about Switch’s reveal trailer date before it was made known. Gamers are advised to take today’s rumor with a grain of salt, though she believes what she’s heard is accurate.
The only window Nintendo shared for Switch’s launch thus far is March 2017. A final date will be known during the system’s blowout presentation on January 12.
