Smash Bros. 3DS character select screen updated with Cloud’s arrival

The character select screen in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS has received an update with the release of Cloud. If you’ve purchased all of the DLC up to this point, you’ll now see an “Extra Fighters” option. It’s here where you can access the downloadable characters.
Several new 3DS themes are out now in Japan, including a new one based on The Legend of Dark Witch 2, Niconico, and more. Here’s the full lineup:
– Black Niconico theme – 100 yen
– Giga P feat. Kagamine Len ‘+? (Plus Male)’ – 200 yen
– doriko feat. Hatsune Miku ‘Romeo and Cinderella’ – 200 yen
– Mi-chan ‘No pain No gain’ – 200 yen
– Bakumatsu Patriot ‘Special Voice Ver. Kyushu’ – 200 yen
– seven The Legend of Dark Witch Episode 2 themes – 100 yen each or 400 yen for all seven

Super Mario Maker – Ma Rio Hills course, Felyne costume out now

Another collaboration course and costume have made their way to Super Mario Maker. Players can begin playing the “Ma Rio Hills” level right now. After completing it, you’ll unlock a new Felyne costume inspired by the Monster Hunter series.

“As a Felyne warrior, your quest is to face the gigantic monsters that roam the uncharted region of Ma Rio Hills and make it safely from your camp to the target point.
Genre: Mario Hunting Action”

Update: Added in footage of the new Mii Fighter costumes.
Now that Cloud has been added to Smash Bros., various gameplay videos of the character action are popping up online. We’ve rounded up some of the footage below.
Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS version 1.1.3, Cloud and Midgar stage out now

The latest update for Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS is now live. Players of both titles can now download version 1.1.3.
With the new update, users can purchase Cloud and the Midgar stage. Additionally, Nintendo says “Adjustments have also been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.”
Today’s update on Wii U is 555MB to download. The 3DS version is 3,104 blocks.
