Lucadian Chronicles gets version 1.02 update
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Lucadian Chronicles has been updated to version 1.2. Developer Dark Roast has addressed several bugs, and has added a number of details.
Read on below for the full patch notes.
Client Version 1.02
Bug Fixes
- More general stability changes.
- Fixed issue where taking screenshot via built-in Miiverse button could result in dark, washed-out image.
- Fixed clicking through resources quickly making them not register in UI.
- Fixed some sound skipping / stuttering issues.
- Fixed music cutting out in some cases involved poison counters.
- Added more messaging to 4-player draft to make it more clear what is happening in the case where you are waiting for other players to finish.
- Fixed “winner” text in draft sometimes appearing next to person who lost.
- Fixed issue with daily challenge timer.
Features
- Battle animations – melee units now ram into other units, and ranged units fire projectiles. We did this to make battle look better and also add clarity – it should now be a little more obvious that heroes attack enemies closest to opposite of them.
- League matching changes – leagues now work a bit differently in a few ways. You will no longer be matched up with people outside of your league, or not battle someone in your league. Now leagues don’t start until enough people join or a certain amount of time passes – after that each person in a league battles each other person twice. We will keep an eye on leagues and adjust the timing, minimum number of entrants, etc, if needed.
- League tiers – players who do well in bronze leagues can now be promoted to silver leagues. Silver leagues will have tougher competition but also higher rewards.
- You can now hold down the B button during evolution animation to speed it up.
- We’ve added the ability to schedule special drafts with better rewards. We want to do our best to ensure that people can find players to play against, so we’ll look to use these drafts to schedule times that people can congregate around.
Thanks to Cameron for the tip.
Rodea: The Sky Soldier introduces the “R series” and more
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News, Wii U | 3 Comments
This week’s issue of Famitsu has a big update on Rodea: The Sky Soldier. The magazine introduces the “R series” of humanoid robots, new characters, and more.
R Series
One portion of Famitsu’s article reveals information about the “R series”. This is a series of humanoid robots with the power of flight.
The emperor of Naga empire, Giado, launched the “R project” to produce robots to use as a spearhead in invading other countries. Rodea has lost the memory of that event, and is now protecting the people of Garuda by confronting his former allies. Rodea was a prototype, so the other members of the R series are more powerful.
Speaking of Giado, Famitsu has a couple of tidbits about the character. He was formerly a good father of Cecilia. That all changes, and he has since enhanced his body with machine parts.
Below is the full rundown of the R series:

Famitsu DS+Wii teases announcement of a big game
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, General Nintendo, News, Wii U | 8 Comments
The latest edition of Famitsu DS+Wii has started to make its way out to readers in Japan, and there’s a noteworthy inclusion in the magazine. Towards the end, there is a tease regarding a big announcement about a major upcoming title for Nintendo systems. Sadly, there isn’t much said about this, but we’ll be hearing about it in the next issue of Famitsu DS+Wii.
Some Japanese news websites have speculated that the announcement could be related to Dragon Quest news teased by V-Jump. In a blog post on Dragon Quest X, V-Jump mentioned upcoming news on the series, saying that something concrete would be announced soon. Given that Dragon Quest X is available for the Wii U and 3DS, perhaps the announcement is for an expansion or new game in the series. Others have speculated that the news is related to Level-5’s Vision 2015 event early next month, which promises a look at upcoming titles like Yo-Kai Watch 3 and Fantasy Life 2.
Whether or not these rumors are related remains to be seen, and we’ll likely have to keep on speculating on any future announcements until next month’s Famitsu DS+Wii goes on sale.
