XType Plus bug results in North American delay
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 2 Comments
XType Plus is suffering from a major bug at present that causes the Wii U to lock up when accessing the game’s online functionality. This is something that was detected following the game’s launch in Europe a few hours ago.
XType Plus was slated for North America today as well, but due to the freezing issues, it has been delayed. We’ll likely need to wait until a fix has been issued before the title lands in the states.

Hyrule Warriors will have online play, a few other bits
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 15 Comments
An official Japanese page for Hyrule Warriors shares a bit more about the Wii U game.
First, as many had anticipated, online play is now officially confirmed. The wording on the page suggests that a unique mode is being prepared for those who intend to play over the Internet.
Aside from a brief mention of online support, Nintendo also confirms the automatic posting of your play status to Miiverse and the ability to purchase DLC (this was a given based on the costumes we’ve heard about).
Lastly, Hyrule Warriors supports 1 save file per user. Oh, and the game’s file size weighs in at 7.8GB.

Capcom sales are down due to lack of “major titles”
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News, Wii U | 6 Comments
Capcom sales are down for the quarter ending June 30, 2014. In its financial report published today, the company noted that net sales dipped to 9.57 billion yen ($93 million, £55.1 million). That’s a decrease of 45.1 percent from the previous year.
Net income also dropped from 828 million yen ($8 million, £4.7 million) the previous year to 765 million yen ($7.4 million, £4.4 million).
Why the downturn? Capcom believes the decrease in sales can be attributed to “a lack of new major titles.”
Fortunately, today’s news isn’t entirely disappointing for Capcom. Operating income actually rose by 75.3 percent year-over-year for an increase of 1.26 billion yen ($12.2 million, £7.2 million). Monster Hunter Frontier GG also “performed steadily with major update.”
Capcom says the company is “on track to achieve full-year forecasts with improving profitability” with a desire to improve earnings by “reducing the cost of sales.”

Are you experiencing freezing issues with XType Plus? If that’s the case, you can rest easy knowing that you’re not alone.
Various comments on Miiverse mention the freezing woes along with other problems caused by bugs. However, XType Plus’ developer is aware of the situation and is looking to address things as soon as possible.
There seems to be a crashing bug with XType Plus on Wii U. I'm talking to Nintendo to get this resolved asap. Sorry everyone :/
