Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

Those who are looking to get a head start on the digital version of Wolfenstein II can do so with the new pre-load option. The game can be purchased and downloaded in advance. Then on launch day, you’ll only need to connect online once to begin playing.

Wolfenstein II launches June 29. The digital version takes up 21.8GB of space.

Little Inferno has managed to sell over 1 million copies, Tomorrow Corporation announced this week. 12.6% of those sales were on Nintendo platforms – Switch and Wii U specifically.

Jackbox Games has announced the second game for The Jackbox Party Pack 5: Split the Room. The developer describes it as “a multi-dimensional party game where you create weird/supernatural scenarios with the goal of splitting the room’s response.”

Sonic Mania Plus

SEGA held several live streams throughout the week where it showed upcoming Switch games at E3. Valkyria Chronicles 4, Shining Resonance Refrain, Team Sonic Racing, and Sonic Mania Plus were all given the spotlight. Recording for these titles can be viewed below.

Hamster announced two more classic games for Switch during a live stream on Niconico today. Argus and Omega Fighter will both be released this summer under the Arcade Archives label.

Argus is a shooter from Jaleco originally brought to arcades in 1986. Omega Fighter is a vertical shooter from UPL, originally made in 1989.

Following Nintendo’s E3 Direct, Fortnite made its debut on Switch this week. Digital Foundry today takes a closer look at the game with a technical analysis and Xbox One comparison.

When docked, Fortnite’s maximum resolution is 900p. Depending on what’s happening on screen, the resolution can drop lower than that.

Original: The next big update for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has arrived. Version 1.5.0 is live, along with the Challenge Battle Mode for Expansion Pass owners.

Challenge Battle Mode “gives players many chances to test their skills, plenty of loot to earn, and some minor story elements that show the characters in a new light”. You’ll be taking on hordes of enemies in Waves to complete each challenge. Additionally, Shulk and Fiora from the first Xenoblade Chronicles join the fight as Blades.

To celebrate today’s release of LEGO The Incredibles, Warner Bros. issued a new launch trailer. Take a look at the video below.

Dragon Marked For Death

Dragon Marked for Death was announced for Switch close to a year ago. The “immersive dark fantasy style action RPG” lets players experience the game alone or with up three other people in local or online multiplayer.

Inti Creates has been relatively silent on Dragon Marked for Death since its initial announcement, but news should be coming soon. Inti Creates boss Takuya Aizu ha said that the team has “gotten to a point where we are right about finishing up a beta build” and the company will have more information at Anime Expo.
