Zelda: Breath of the Wild Switch item distribution (10/11/17)

Nintendo has kept up with its weekly tradition of distributing items for Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch. If you’ve subscribed to the official news channel, a new message should be appearing.
Director Hidemaro Fujibayashi once again behind the message. He’s here to help you out with a tip about rusty weapons. When you start Breath of the Wild from the news message, you’ll receive a Rusty Broadsword upon starting the game.

Fire Emblem Heroes: Minerva and Maria’s Battle summoning focus and Bound Hero Battle now live

A new summoning focus and Bound Hero Battle are now available in Fire Emblem Heroes. The summoning focus is called “Minerva and Maria’s Battle” and it features 5 star versions of Palla, Minerva, and Maria.
The new Bound Hero Battle event is tied in with this new summoning focus and you will be battling against Minerva and Maria in 3 difficulty levels (Hard, Lunatic, Infernal). Clearing each map can score you some orbs to collect.
This summoning focus & Bound Hero Battle will only be available until October 18th.

September 2017’s best-selling games on the North American Switch eShop

In a news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo lists the best-selling games on the North American Switch eShop for the month of September 2017.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was first, followed by Sonic Mania. Golf Story was also in the top three despite launching very late into the month.

Earlier today, Nintendo kicked off its cross-country promotional tour for Super Mario Odyssey. The fun began at Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles where the game was playable, the musical video debuted, and more.
Nintendo just sent out a few photos of the festivities at Universal CityWalk. You can find them all below, along with their descriptions.

Miitomo – new Miitomo Drop stage (10/10/17)

Miitomo has been updated with new content. Players can nab the latest items in the Miitomo Drop stage, “Ghosts and goblins gather! Halloween Party #2”.
Available items include:
– Spooky bats tee
– Ghost pal (witch)
– Plain witch dress
– Spider mage’s outfit
Users can select Miitomo Drop stages from the Shop tab. Miitomo coins or game tickets are needed to play.

Splatoon 2’s latest update is now available. Nintendo has just started distribution of version 1.4.0. Tons of changes have been made pertaining to player ranks, Salmon Run, Spectator Mode, weapons, and more.

Nintendo to sell Super Mario Odyssey’s “Jump Up, Super Star!” theme on iTunes next week in Japan

Nintendo is really going out with the “Jump Up, Super Star!” theme for Super Mario Odyssey. That’s especially evidence in the special musical that the company put out tonight.
Over on the Japanese website, Nintendo confirms that the full version will be sold on iTunes in Japan beginning October 20. We’ll have to wait and see if something similar happens in other regions.
