Another Pokemon Shuffle update is live. This update gives us another Pokemon safari with the Pokemon this time being different emotions of Pikachu. The safari includes Angry, Winking, Enamored and Smiling Pikachu, as well as the new Charizard Costume Pikachu. The safari lasts until August 15th.
There are also repeat runs of Dialga and Palkia that run to the 18th and Beedrill and Meloetta that runs to the 25th.

Pokemon Duel version 4.0 out now

The newest version of Pokemon Duel is out and with it comes a lot of new Pokemon including Mega Evolution and Alola Pokemon. The mobile app lists the update as containing the following:
– New rarity UX
– Item allowing you to level up a Pokemon to level 10
– Halls is a new function that has been added to enhance room matches
– Deck cost cap for plates has increased
– New league has been added
– Various bug fixes

Fire Emblem Heroes – Reunited at Last summoning focus

A new summoning focus has hit Fire Emblem Heroes that revolves around the next Tempest Trials. This focus includes Gray, Celica, Delthea and Sonya. The focus lasts until August 25th.
The next Tempest Trials will also start August 11th and will feature the above summon characters as bonus characters.
Severed getting surprise launch on Switch today

Having previously released on Wii U and 3DS, Severed is coming to Switch. Guacamelee creator Drinkbox Studios is actually launching the title on the eShop today. Pricing is set at $14.99 / €14.99 / £13.49.
Here’s an overview of Severed:
Severed puts players in the role of Sasha, a one- armed warrior who has embarked on a dangerous quest to find her missing family members. During their adventure, players will hack, slash, and swipe their way through nightmarish monsters and uniquely challenging puzzles.
In Severed, players use swipe-based touch controls to solve puzzles, find secrets and battle a host of disturbing monsters including giant floating skull wizards and beasts made of crows. During the journey, players unlock new abilities, ascend an RPG-style upgrade tree, and uncover the mysteries of the dark fantasy universe Sasha finds herself in.

Update: And it’s gone! Couple of tweets and comments saying it was gone instantly or that the cart button wouldn’t work, might have been a bug on the Gamestop system.

Chicken Wiggle is the newest game from Atooi’s Jools Watsham, the creator of Mutant Mudds. The game is rather small, coming in at just 280 blocks. That amounts to just 35MB.

Five new TurboGrafx-16 games rated for Wii U Virtual Console

The Wii U Virtual Console has been going strong with TurboGrafx-16 games. Listings from the ESRB suggest that the releases will be continuing.
China Warrior, Shockman, Chew Man Fu, Double Dungeons, and Vigilante have all been rated for Wii U. No word on release dates yet, but they’ll likely be rolled out over the next few weeks. We’ll keep an eye on any listings that pop up on Nintendo’s website.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild update out now (version 1.3.1) – get items from new News channel

A new update for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has just gone out. Nintendo is delivering version 1.3.1 to all players.
Nintendo says that today’s update addresses an issue with the game’s first round of DLC involving the defeat of certain enemies for Kilton. But more interestingly, a new News channel for Breath of the Wild will be going live for Switch on Wednesday. Players will be able to obtain items by launching Zelda from certain articles.
