This week’s Famitsu’s most wanted games chart is in. Persona 5, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Final Fantasy XV, Hyrule Warriors, and Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire are all in the top five.

Jett Tailfin hitting the North American Wii U eShop on August 7

Jett Tailfin will be available on the North American Wii U eShop starting August 7, Nintendo’s website confirms.
We had previously heard that Jett Tailfin was on track to launch this month. However, it wasn’t said if the game would launch as both a retail product and digital download or only as an eShop release.
In any case, Jett Tailfin is due out in one form or another in a matter of weeks. Screenshots from the game can be found above.

Collectorvision bringing “Justice Beaver” to the Wii U eShop and SNES

Yes, you read that title correctly! Collectorvision is planning its new game “Justice Beaver” for the Wii U eShop and, surprisingly, the SNES.
The developer shared the news on Facebook yesterday:
Justice Beaver isn’t the only retro-related project coming from Collectorvision. Sydney Hunter and the Mayan’s Revenge are both in the works for the NES and will be available this year.

GameStop has a pair of 3DS games on sale. Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask are both $10 each. This seems to be online-only, but we’ll let you know if we hear otherwise.

New writers working on Bravely Second’s story

Bravely Default story writer Naotaka Hayashi is not returning for Bravely Second, this week’s Famitsu confirms.
Producer Tomoya Asano and assistant producer Shinji Takahashi are leading the way on Bravely Second’s scenario. Director Kensuke Nakahara and Bravely Default lead scenario planner Keiichi Ajiro from Silicon Studio, as well as series light novel writer Souki Tsukishima, are all contributing to the scenario as well.
