New Pokemon Snap

The Pokemon Company has shared more on New Pokemon Snap. Another batch of screenshots is in, and we have a few pieces of art as well.

New Pokemon Snap

New Pokemon Snap is now available to pre-order from the Switch eShop. If you plan on picking up the game digitally, you’ll need 6.8GB of free space.

New Pokemon Snap will be sold at retail as well. No matter which option you choose, the game will cost $59.99.

The official New Pokemon Snap release date is set for April 30.

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Famitsu are as follows:

Imagineer has announced a new sales record for Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise. After only being out for about a month, the game has sold over 500,000 copies worldwide. This is factoring in digital and physical sales.

This is a big accomplishment, given that the game is exclusive to the Switch, and it appears that Imagineer will continue to support the game with new content moving forward. A new “No-Mercy” intensity add-on is available today for free and there are plans for more free updates to come.

Square Enix provided a big update on Bravely Default II today. Lots of new details and a trailer have been released covering Rimedahl, various characters and jobs, sub-quests, and the Bind & Divide card game.

GungHo today introduced its latest plans for Ninjala leading into Seasons 5 and 6.

The big news concerns the game’s latest collaborations: Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Let It Die, which will be held at the end of January and February respectively. They’re part of Season 4, which also has a Featured Battle and limited time event. Season 5 will include new weapons, an updated tutorial, two new collaborations, and an updated tutorial. Season 6 will celebrate Ninjala’s first anniversary, and will have new weapons, a new stage, and a new collaboration.

As the title implies, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury has two adventures to complete. You can platform your way through the original Wii U levels or access the entirely new experience featuring Fury Bowser.

Nintendo has now indicated that players can select the original Super Mario 3D World or the new Bowser’s Fury adventure at any point. You’ll simply choose between them on the title screen. Based on this, it sounds like you won’t have to finish the main campaign to unlock Bowser’s Fury.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury launches for Switch on February 12.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 - Sonic

Before the launch of Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, SEGA promised free post-launch support. The first update, which goes live on January 14, was detailed today.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is getting four new playable characters, including Sonic. Online play will also now support “Boss Battle with Everyone”, new Item Cards and My Icons are on the way, and new background music is being added.
