The end of the week means it’s new weapon time in Splatoon 2. The Tri Slosher Nouveau is identical to the regular Tri Slosher in terms of stats, but comes with the Splat Bomb sub-weapon and the Ink Storm special instead. It’ll be available tomorrow around noon in Japan and Australia, early in the morning in Europe and later tonight in North America.

More:

It seems that Dragon Quest Builders 2 will be taking place not too long after the actual Dragon Quest 2 game that came out on NES featuring an order that revolves around the antagonists of those games. Down below is a more in-depth description by Gematsu:

“In Dragon Quest II, the corrupt cleric Hargon (who planned to destroy the world by sacrificing his own life to summon the God of Destruction) and the God of Destruction Malroth were defeated by the descendants of the heroes, and peace visited the land, but a religious order that inherited Hargon’s intentions appeared with the intention of eradicating the Builders.

The peace that came after Hargon’s death collapsed with the rise of the “Hargon Order,” whose goal is to destroy the world. The Hargon Order spearheads the destruction of towns and castles all over the world. The earth falls into ruin, and there are little remains left of peoples’ lives.”

Achievements are coming to Minecraft on Switch – just not in the traditional sense. Microsoft and Mojang have confirmed that you’ll be able to earn achievements tied to Xbox Live through Nintendo’s console once the Bedrock update has gone live.

Thanks to Bedrock, Minecraft is being united on a number of platforms. Aside from achievements, it implements other features such as cross-platform play.

You can find the full list of achievements that you’ll be able to collect in Minecraft below.

Nintendo’s Shinya Takahashi was on hand for the BAFTA Games Awards earlier today. After the event wrapped up and the company took home a few awards, BBC briefly conducted an interview with Takahashi.

To begin, BBC asked how it feels to be a part of Nintendo’s comeback. Takahashi said in response:

MUSYNX appears to have a release date. The North American eShop added in a listing for the game today, which shows that PM Studios will be publishing the digital version on June 21. We assume the physical release will be happening around the same time.

For those who missed our previous coverage, here’s an overview and trailer for MUSYNX:

Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey received several nominations at the 2018 BAFTA Game Awards. The awards ceremony has just wrapped up, and between the two, both titles secured a few wins.

Super Mario Odyssey actually took home the most wins at two for the game design and family categories. Zelda: Breath of the Wild was chosen for the innovation award.
