Nintendo has published a pair of new trailers for the Switch version of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze focusing on DK himself and Funky Kong. Find both videos below.

Suda51 has said that he’s thinking about bringing back classic characters for Travis Strikes Again, including dead ones. Speaking in an interview with Nintendo UK, he explained that in order to bring back the people Travis has killed, he would have to iron out “several things”.

Suda51 stated:

Something rather strange happened with Sonic Mania yesterday. For some users in the UK, an update went live on the PlayStation Network. It has since been pulled, though quite a few players were able to download the patch.

With that accidental leak, we have a bunch of details about what SEGA and the rest of the Sonic Mania team has in store for an upcoming update (which will also be applicable for Sonic Mania Plus). If you’re interested in the information, continue on below. Just be wary of potential spoilers.

Nintendo recently had developers Hisashi Nogami and Kosuke Yabuki go head-to-head in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and ARMS. For the full competition and results, check out the video below.

After a mostly quiet week for maintenance, Nintendo has scheduled some downtime for Switch tomorrow. The system will be impacted for nearly two hours tomorrow.

The maintenance schedule is as follows:

– 6:50 PM PT (April 19) – 8:30 PM PT (April 19)
– 9:50 PM ET (April 19) – 11:30 PM ET (April 19)
– 2:50 AM in the UK (April 20) – 4:30 AM in the UK (April 20)
– 3:50 AM in Europe (April 20) – 5:30 AM in Europe (April 20)
