Switch

Update: Bumped to the top. Nintendo has posted a non-blurry version of the clip on its UK Twitter page:

Original: Over the past week, Nintendo has started to tease ARMS players with what’s next for the game. These last few days have shown us a new stage and a very vague look at a new character. That continued today with another tease in GIF form. Take a look at the latest tweet from the Japanese ARMS Twitter account below.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

As we know, Ubisoft announced its latest financial results this past week. We have more information from the call that was held after the initial report was posted.

Early on in the call, Ubisoft said that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle outperformed its own forecasts. The game is also once again confirmed to be the best-selling third-party title on Switch.

It was also pointed out that the growing / successful install base on Switch should have many benefits for Ubisoft. As a result, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is expected to have a longer than usual sales curve.

We’re about a week away from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s launch on Switch. To celebrate, Nintendo has opened the game’s full North American website. Access it here for gameplay information, screenshots, and more.

At Paris Games Week, Koei Tecmo president / COO Hisashi Koinuma as well as Omega Force manager Hideo Suzuki were on hand to show off Attack on Titan 2. The two also commented specifically on the Switch version.

Koinuma noted that, as an anime game, they wanted Attack on Titan 2 to connect with as many fans as possible. Koei Tecmo looked into the platforms on the market that were available within the target audience and made an effort to reach the broadest userbase they could. This is how Koei Tecmo ultimately decided on the platforms for Attack on Titan 2, which includes Switch.

Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley’s Switch patch is coming closer to release. It’s been submitted, meaning it shouldn’t be too long until the patch makes it out to players.

One interesting thing included with the update is video capture. We didn’t know about this previously, but Chucklefish has confirmed that you’ll be able to record gameplay clips similar to Super Mario Odyssey once the patch is released.

Julian Eggebrecht is the president of Factor 5. You may not be aware of this, but he’s also the vice president of technology at Hulu.

It was almost a funny coincidence that Eggebrecht appeared on this week’s episode of Nintendo Voice Chat from IGN. He largely talked about Factor 5, but also had a bit to say about the new launch of Hulu on Switch. Hulu just made it to Nintendo’s console on Thursday.

When asked why Hulu didn’t appear on Switch until now, Eggebrecht explained:
