Nintendo of Europe posted a commerical for Zelda: Breath of the Wild on its Twitter page today. The ad itself is new, but is comprised of footage from this month’s trailer. View the commerical below.

Nintendo of France kicked off a short Breath of the Wild interview series with Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma. For the first question, he was asked about making nature the focus. This time, Aonuma took on a question about the features he’s preferred to work on to make the experience unique.

Aonuma said in response:

“What I prefer in this game is the freedom of action, which is truly gigantic. The game is designed to allow you to scale every mountain, and the main game mechanic is to climb summits. The world is designed so that when you’re high up, you can see everything that makes it up, and when you find an interesting place, you can go there using your paraglider. Each time, you’re going to climb, look around, glide… It’s a form of movement I haven’t found in any other game, and I think that’s something very amusing and new. It’s that aspect of the game I enjoy the most.”

Nintendo tends to sell its systems for a profit. With Switch, that tradition will continue. Nintendo said during its financial results briefing today that its new console will be sold for a profit, beginning at launch.

Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima provided a status update on Switch during the company’s financial results briefing today.

At the event, he noted that pre-orders are good so far. Nintendo intends to increase production of Switch as a result.

Nintendo is looking to provide as much stock as possible to all consumers wanting the system in March. However, for some regions, stock may not be available until April or later.

Square Enix just wrapped up a fan Q&A event on Facebook for NieR: Automata. At one point, desginer Takahisa Taura was asked about a potential Switch version.

Taura seemed open to the idea, as well as bringing the game to more platforms in general. It would ultimately come down to Square Enix’s interest.

Taura said:

“From our perspective in PlatinumGames, if Square Enix pays us to do it, we’ll make you a version for the Switch, we’ll make you a version for the Super Nintendo if you want – anything you ask for.”

Square Enix is already bringing several titles to Switch. One more wouldn’t hurt, right?
