Bandai Namco have shared a new trailer of Digimon World: Next Order for Switch, showing off some of the gameplay features of the title, which is due out next year on Nintendo’s console. The Switch version will bring with it new features, including a “run” feature and a Beginner mode.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 3’s latest update is now out, and it’s adding quite a lot to the title. As previously announced, the main focus of this update is adding in a new Epilogue story mode and playable character, as well as an online scoreboard.

Now that the full patch notes are available, we can also see a number of other changes made to the game, from adjustments made to the effects of select Image Pulses to a number of bug fixes.

Fire Emblem Engage Eirika and Ephraim

For our second Fire Emblem Engage character introduction of the day, we have a look at the classic heroes Eirika and her twin brother Ephraim. Information was posted on the series’ Japanese Twitter account with SatsumaFS handling translations.

Eirika, the Emblem of the Sacred, is a kind princess who fights for peace. In this game, she assists Alear and the others with Ephraim.

Nintendo Switch Online Golden Axe II, Alien Storm, Columns, Virtua Fighter 2

A new batch of SEGA Genesis games have just dropped on Nintendo Switch Online – specifically Golden Axe II, Alien Storm, Columns, and Virtua Fighter 2. If you’re an Expansion Pack member, you can immediately access these titles after installing an update for the app.

Night in the Woods Collector's Edition

More than three years after it was initially announced, the physical release for Night in the Woods is finally coming to fruition – and it’ll include a collector’s edition.

We first heard about plans for boxed versions in 2019. However, it was postponed following allegations against Alec Holowka, who was a coder, composer, and co-designer on the game.

River City Girls 2 trailer

River City Girls 2 has now launched worldwide, and we have a trailer to celebrate. WayForward and Arc System Works are showing off the beat ’em up game for a final time.

Fire Emblem Engage Somniel

Original (12/8): Nintendo just released a new seven-minute trailer for Fire Emblem Engage that introduces Somniel, your base of operations. This is located in the sky above the continent of Elyos and hosts a variety of facilities and activities for players to prepare for upcoming battles and strengthen bonds.

Thus far the video has only been made available in Japanese. We’ll swap it out with an English version if and when it’s published.

Arcade Paradise Kung Fury: Street Rage

Arcade Paradise is getting its very first licensed in-game cabinet in the form of Kung Fury: Street Rage. This will be available for Switch on January 13, 2023.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet 20000 League Points distribution

Another distribution has begun in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, with players now having an easy way to obtain 20,000 League Points (LP). A Mystery Gift code was provided by the Pokemon AfterSchool Club YouTube channel.

League Points are significant in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet since they can be spent to obtain certain items and to craft TMs at T.M. Machines. Typically, LP can be obtained as players advance the story or by trading in materials from Pokemon.
