E3 2017 is only a week away, but it already feels like the festivities have started. Today’s Pokemon Direct can be partially attributed to that since we should be getting some big news about the franchise very soon.

No live blog for this one due to how short it is, but you can watch the Pokemon Direct as it happens below in an hour from now (7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 3 PM in the UK / 4 PM in Europe). Although it’ll only be eight minutes long, similar presentations focusing on the series have been equally short. We’ll put up any breaking news on the site right as it happens.

Warner Bros. will be streaming live from E3 2017 for the first time this year. The publisher’s new show, known as “WB Games Live!”, will be featuring LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, LEGO Worlds, and LEGO Dimensions.

WB Games Live! will feature live gameplay demos, discussions with developers and surprise guests, and cosplay contests. Those who are watching online can enter for online giveaways and prizes.

WB Games Live! will be hosted between June 13 and June 15. You can watch it all here.

Need some help with the controls in ARMS? A new video from Nintendo UK will tell you everything you need to know about the standard control method plus other options included in the game. Get a look at it below.

Just like the poison mist yesterday, the Splatoon Twitter account has introduced another new sub weapon in Splatoon 2 today. The “robot bomb” is a sort of walking homing missile. You throw it, and once it lands, it’ll detect the nearest enemy in a certain radius and starts walking towards them until it explodes.

One of the weapon kits that’ll have the robot bomb sub is the “Foxy”, a roller-type weapon that seems to be quite similar in appearance to the Octobrush from the first game. It will also have the Inkjet special.

Check out the robot bomb in action, as well as look at some screenshots of it and the Foxy:

As could be seen in the latest Nintendo Direct, ARMS doesn’t take itself and its lore all that seriously. Today, the official ARMS Twitter account posted the concept art you see above, which supposedly depicts the history of the mysterious extendable Arms. Apparently, the oldest known records of extendable Arms date back to about 1,500 years ago, although some experts argue that they have been around for about 4,000 years. They also weren’t limited to humans – even animals and plants were said to possess that ability.

HORI intends to ship several Splatoon 2-themed Switch accessories for the game’s big launch next month. Listings on Amazon show pouches, a “Splat Pack”, and a “Deluxe Splat Pack with Squid Trigger Grip”.

The pouches are pretty much what you’d expect. As for the Splat Pack, HORI is also putting in a pouch plus a game case with clip and two Splatoon 2 Analog Caps. We don’t have an image yet for the Deluxe Splat Pack yet, but it features the same items as the standard version as well as a “Squid Trigger Grip” that “adds mechanical triggers for more accurate splats”.

We’ve included photos of HORI’s Splatoon 2 Switch accessories below. You can order each of them here.
