Nintendo has some maintenance planned for the next couple of weeks, all involving Switch. One session is planned for tomorrow with a couple of others to follow at the end of the month.

Crysis 2 Remastered and Crysis 3 Remastered Switch gameplay

Crystar coming to Switch

FuRyu will release Crystar on Switch, according to Japanese retailer listings. The port will be available in Japan starting on February 24, 2022.
Crystar, an action RPG developed by Gemdrops, originally released in 2018 in Japan. Spike Chunsoft then picked the title up for publishing in the west a year later. The Switch version of Crystar has only been announced for Japan thus far, though since it’s already been out in English, it’s possible that a western launch will happen at a later date.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons new villagers list for version 2.0 update

A ton of new content is coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons as part of the big 2.0 update in November, and we’ve compiled a list of villagers that will be joining the game.
Nintendo will be adding a total of 16 characters. These new villagers will also be featured in the Animal Crossing amiibo cards series 5.

Dying Light Switch tech analysis, including frame rate

As part of the latest demon trailer for Shin Megami Tensei V, we have a look at Zhen. The creature has appeared in various titles like Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, Shin Megami Tensei IV, and Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey.

Falcom dispels talk that it’s had a poor relationship with Nintendo

Switch is really the first time that Falcom games have had a major presence on a Nintendo platform. Over the past few years, the Ys and Legend of Heroes series have found a new home on the console.
While Falcom largely missed out on previously Nintendo systems, president Toshihiro Kondo says that it’s not due to a poor relationship. He reiterated with in an interview with Denfaminicogamer that it all comes down to the amount of available resources. That’s why the company has partnered with Nippon Ichi Software and Clouded Leopard Entertainment to assist with ports.

Shin Megami Tensei V daily demon vol. 158 – Camael

Atlus is back with another demon trailer for Shin Megami Tensei V, and we now have a look at Camael. This is a creature that has actually had limited appearances in the series, though it did pop up in titles like Shin Megami Tensei II and Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon.

[Let’s Talk] Metroid Dread impressions

It’s crazy to think about, but after nearly two decades, we’ve finally seen a brand new, original 2D Metroid. After skipping several of its other systems, Nintendo finally felt the time was right to create Metroid Dread for Switch.
It’s been about a week since Metroid Dread came out. Given that it’s not a massively long experience, we imagine that many of you have already completed the game or are at least pretty far along.
