Super Mario Maker’s latest Event Course and costume are now available. After completing “Yu Ayasaki’s Big Adventure!”, players will unlock the outfit based on the Daigasso! Band Bros. P character.
Here’s the official Event Course description:
Hi, everyone! I’m the up-and-coming voice actress Yu Ayasaki! I’ve been hosting a radio show in the Nintendo 3DS game “Daigasso! Band Bros. P” exclusively in Japan, but now the whole world gets to see me as a Mario costume! I’ve still got a long way to go as a voice actress, but I’m ready to give anything a try!
Here’s a full playthrough of the new Event Course:

Rumble and LEDs may have been planned for the Pokken Tournament controller
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Wii U | 29 Comments
At one point, there may have been plans to include some extra features in the Pokken Tournament Pro Pad. Austin Mageles has been picking the controller apart and came across a couple of interesting discoveries.
First, it seems that there are two areas where two force feedback motors would have been included, which is further hinted at with “LM” and “RM” prints on the circuit board. This would designate “Left Motor” and “Right Motor” – both would likely be used for rumble support. Also found within the transparent red plastic on the bottom of the controller are “dimples” for LED lights.
Here’s a roundup of Mageles’ photos:
@Alex_Olney It looks like the Pokken Pro pad may have had rumble support! Might be useful info for an addendum pic.twitter.com/sRNpLRWWt9

@Alex_Olney I got curious since there wasn't much to the PCB, so I unscrewed the board and found more evidence pic.twitter.com/QIob7nCdh3

@Alex_Olney and would you believe it, I found the contacts for "LM," which I would assume stands for "Left Motor." pic.twitter.com/mqr2VTt6lF

@Alex_Olney As you would expect, upon lifting the button contacts on the right, there is a "Motor Right" printed pic.twitter.com/wCGsH6YHA7

Splatoon – European Splatfest #12 results
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 5 Comments
Splatoon’s latest European Splatfest has now wrapped up, and Nintendo has made the results available. Just like in North America, the 12th competition was a closely contested battle.
Team Hoverboard was victorious thanks to small edges in both votes (51 percent) and wins (52 percent). You can’t get much close than that! In the end, Team Hoverboard took home 363 points compared to Team Jet Pack’s 337 points.

Splatoon – North American Splatfest #12 results
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 4 Comments
The 12th North American Splatfest in Splatoon has now come to an end. Who came out on top: those who’d prefer to build a snowman or a sandcastle?
This was a close match all the way around. Team Snowman had a slight edge in popularity, but Team Sandcastle saw slightly more wins. Because they did win more of the battles, Team Sandcastle prevailed. The final score was 359 to 341.
