Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Screenshots (07/08/14)

Palutena gets the spotlight twice today as Sakurai shows off her huge up-smash attack:
I talked about an attack with a far reach in yesterday’s post, but it didn’t compare to Palutena’s up smash attack! No joke, it reaches really far. It reached so far in this shot that even the rocketbarrels got blown up.
However, it appears it’s not without drawbacks:
That said, if we’re talking just about range, even that can’t beat Palutena’s power, Heavenly Light. It has quite a damage field. However, this is a no-flinch attack, which means the opponents won’t react to the damage!
Itagaki not worried about Devil’s Third finding an audience on Wii U
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 35 Comments
Devil’s Third may not be the traditional kind of game that we’re used to seeing on Nintendo platforms – not to mention the type of game that Nintendo typically publishes – but creator Tomonobu Itagaki isn’t worried that his game won’t find an audience on Wii U.
Speaking with Canada.com, Itagaki mentioned that he’s already seen comments from fans stating that they’ll purchase a Wii U just to play Devil’s Third, and he believes that “gamers are the ones who make the future.”
You’ll find Itagaki’s full comments below.

Today’s screenshot features the Mii Gunner once again, as Sakurai explains one of the possible attacks available to Mii fighters:
The Mii Gunner’s side smash attack may have the farthest reach of all the side smashes…as should be expected from a firearms expert!! Looks like the attack missed this time, though.
