The future of the staff at Rune Factory developer Neverland was left uncertain after the company filed for bankruptcy late last year, but now Famitsu has revealed that the team is working on a brand new Simulation RPG published by Marvelous AQL. The game, titled “Forbidden Magna”, will be released for the Nintendo 3DS. This first scan gives a look at some of the game’s cast members named (clockwise, from red-haired dude) Lux, Charlotte, Beatrice and Diana.

Expect more information and higher quality images when this week’s Famitsu releases.

Thought you were finally getting close to catching them all thanks to the recent release of Pokébank? Well too bad because it looks like another Pokémon is on the way, according to leaked scans from an upcoming CoroCoro magazine. This new Rock/Fairy type Pokémon, Diancie, brings the total number of monsters in the series to 719.

Along with today’s screenshot, director Masahiro Sakurai posted the following message to Miiverse:

Pic of the day. You missed me, because you attacked my illusory copy from my Double Team move!

Heads up, European 3DS owners. If you plan on purchasing Inazuma Eleven 3: Team Ogre Attacks on the eShop, you’ll need to reserve over 13,000 blocks of space. Far from the biggest 3DS game, but still a heavy amount.

A quick heads up: Rayman Legends has been reduced to $40 on the eShop. This is a permanent price drop, so it won’t be going up to $60 in the future.

As always, retail remains an option as well. Amazon also has Rayman Legends available for $40.

Corcell Technology has a bunch of DLC lined up for AeternoBlade. One of these items, as revealed on the game’s Facebook page, is “Arena Mode”.

Arena Mode provides players with the challenge of clearing all 20 waves of enemies. Corcell recommends that you complete the story mode first, as Freya will need to be equipped with a suitable relic set.

In recent weeks, total 3DS hardware sales exceeded 15 million units in Japan. The system achieved this goal in its 154th week on the market, which is, interestingly enough, faster than the Game Boy Advance. GBA sold around 11.64 million units by its 154th week.

As for the DS, Nintendo’s older portable has the edge. DS moved around 20.16 million units by its 154th week.
