Action-platformer/memory game Killer Chambers launches on Switch next week. Check out some gameplay with the footage below.

Killer Chambers is scheduled to launch on the Switch eShop on December 21.

Today, after issues with distributing Zarude through UK retailer GAME, the Pokemon Company has announced that Zarude will be offered via code to players in the UK and parts of Europe, including France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, if they sign up for the Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter by December 18. You can sign up here.

Codes are scheduled to be distributed sometime in January.

Square Enix has announced that its update including a lot of fixes for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is coming on December 17. This update will be version 1.0.3 on the Switch and 1.0.2 on the Switch Lite.

The update will include server maintence, as well as various bug fixes and improvements (specifically to multiplayer). This update is scheduled to go live any time from 11:00 – 18:00 on December 17, 2020 in Japan (which would be 6:00pm – 1:00am PT) and more details about it can be found in our previous coverage here.

A new update has released for Fire Emblem Heroes (version 5.0.2), and its contents are the usual fare. The update appears to have fixed some issues that were reported but no specific issues are listed.

This week, a major update went live for The Long Dark. Version 1.89.69528 is out now – otherwise known as Hesitant Prospect.

The update features a new region, new gear items, and more. Additional information and a trailer can be found below.

Pokemon Masters EX has opened its Battle Villa until December 28, 2020 at 9:59pm PT. Players will be able to put up to nine sync pairs to the test using Battle Villa-exclusive items.

Also, version 2.4.0 of the game is coming in late December, and this will change the way stamina is replenished. After this update, stamina will be replenished by 1 every 4 minutes instead of 1 every 6 minutes. 

Dragalia Lost has refreshed its content, adding a new onslaught event called The Great Dragonyule Offensive. This event has players fighting against hoards of enemies and earning rewards such as water tomes and shadow tomes. This event is live now (along with its log-in bonus) and it will last until 9:59pm PT on December 24, 2020.

Also, an epilogue has been added to the Princess Connect! Re: Dive: A Voracious Visitor event. This event has now ended, but the epilogue is available until December 20, 2020 at 9:59pm PT.

Finally, a new Gala Dragalia Remix is coming on December 15, 2020 and Astral Raids will be starting on December 19, 2020. This announcement of a Gala Dragalia Remix comes with a preview video that is attached below.

Capcom has published a couple of videos showcasing the move set of the bow and dual blades in Monster Hunter Rise. These around 1 minute videos show off new gameplay footage.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Monster Hunter Rise takes the overall top spot for the first time while Disgaea 6 makes its first appearance.
