Hamster unveiled the latest games for its Arcade Archives series during a live stream today. Contra, Super Cobra, Super Dodge Ball, and Gradius II (Vulcan Venture) are all on the way. Release dates were not shared, but they should be rolling out in the weeks and months ahead.

Today’s broadcast also reconfirmed other upcoming Arcade Archives titles like Gemini Wing. As has been the case for awhile now, we’ll continue to find out about the next release every Wednesday for release on Thursday (or in some cases Friday).

The Nintendo UK store updated today with a number of Zelda-related items.

First up is the physical release for Cadence of Hyrule, available to pre-order here. It launches on October 23.

Also now available to pre-order are a slew of returning Zelda amiibo. You can reserve figures from Breath of the Wild, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Majora’s Mask, and more that were previously sold out here.

iam8bit,  Rare, and Xbox Game Studios have announced the Battletoads NES Legacy Cartridge Collection. The special re-release “comes in a premium fold-out box sporting painstakingly restored full-color archival artwork, and comes with exclusive pack-ins, as well as (in the collector’s tradition) a foil-stamped dust cover.”

If that wasn’t enough, there will also be a Smash Hits Vinyl Soundtrack for Battletoads. It comes with tracks from the original Battletoads, Battletoads in Battlemaniacs, Battletoads Arcade, and newly-launched Battletoads title.

The side-scrolling RPG Regions of Ruin has only been available on the eShop, but that’s about to change. Limited Run Games has announced that it will be producing a physical version soon.

Pre-orders for Regions of Ruin open on September 1, with a reservation window of four weeks. You’ll be able to pick up a copy through Limited Run Games’ website here.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will feature 13 newly-added post-game dungeons, Square Enix has announced.

These extra areas, which are more difficult than normal, offer new equipment item recipes that were not included in the original game. Players will be able to obtain new accessories, weapons, and armor. Also new is the ability to use “Crystal Memories” in these dungeons, which allow players to use moves previously unique to bosses.
