Bakeru makes its debut outside of Japan today, and to celebrate, Spike Chunsoft readied a launch trailer. This new title from from Good-Feel, who most recently made Princess Peach: Showtime on Switch.

Astroneer has received a number of free updates previously, but the game is now getting its first-paid DLC titled Glitchwalkers. It will be available later in 2024.

Glitchwalkers is highlighted by Aeoluz as a new planet. Here players can explore new surface and cave biomes, access new tech tree and modules, and more.

Drova: Forsaken Kin now has a release date, and it’s heading to Switch in a month. Publisher Deck13 Spotlight and developer Just2D announced today that it’ll be ready to go on October 15, 2024.

It’s been a little over two years since we first reported on Drova: Forsaken Kin. No release date window was given when it was originally revealed in June 2022, but now it’s only a few weeks away.

Nintendo shared new data today revealing the top 20 best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for August 2024.

A few new games manage to make the list. Gundam Breaker 4, Castlevania Dominus Collection, and Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Party Dash all appear for the first time. Meanwhile, Suika Game manages to appear on top.

CounterAttack: Uprising was updated on all platforms today, including Switch, to version 1.1.5.

The update features improved cross-region online cross-platform matchmaking, bigger player controllable capital ships, and lots of small improvements and enhancements. A new global lobby will help pilots find each other more easily.
