Original (3/31): XSEED Games today revealed the special Golden Memories Edition for Rune Factory 3 Special.

All copies include a custom outer box featuring an original illustration based on the game’s anime opening, the game card and case, an acrylic standee featuring protagonists from Rune Factory 3 Special, Rune Factory 4 Special, and Rune Factory 5 measuring 6” wide and 4” tall, an original soundtrack CD, a custom 5” by 8” planner containing in-game seasons in addition to a real world calendar, and an exclusive “Swimsuit Mode” DLC allowing for characters to appear in their swimsuits year-round. The whole package costs $79.99. Most major retailers should be carrying the Rune Factory 3 Special Golden Memories Edition.

Nintendo has updated its support site for Joy-Con that aren’t responding / responding incorrectly, and it states that the company is doing free repairs for controllers that are out of warranty in the UK, EEA, Switzerland “until further notice”. 

Many consumers have found that this is something the Big N is already doing. However, it now appears to be an official policy.

Original (11/8): Nintendo and DeNA are teaming up on a joint venture company titled Nintendo Systems, it’s been announced. This is expected to go into effect on April 3, 2023.

The two sides have been collaborating since 2015. DeNA had been working with Nintendo on some of its earliest mobile efforts, and also provided support when it comes to Nintendo Accounts.

With the new joint venture company, it was mentioned that the goal is “to strengthen the digitalization of Nintendo’s business” and it “will research and develop, as well as create value-added services to further reinforce Nintendo’s relationship with consumers.”

Nintendo released a new video today showcasing a few European digital game highlights from March 2023. Some of the highlighted titles include Have a Nice Death, Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, and Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key.

Splatoon 3 held its fifth Splatfest this week, and the results are now in for the Nessie vs. Aliens vs. Bigfoot battle. Players were asked to side with the creature they believe is real.

We were given a look at how things were going at halftime yesterday. It was pretty close, but Team Nessie held the lead with 34.92 percent. Team Aliens followed with 32.64 percent, and Team Bigfoot was just behind that with 32.44 percent.

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet aren’t slowing down with the Tera Raid Battle events, and another one has now been announced with Ditto.

These Ditto will have various Tera Types, and will have five stats rated as “Best.” Expect to see them appearing more frequently in five-star battles.

A number of new deals are up and running on the North American Switch eShop. These include the lowest prices ever for Neon Abyss, Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection, Rogue Legacy, and more.
