This week, some news made the rounds about Switch’s estimated manufacturing cost. Japanese teardown firm Fomalhaut published an article on Nikkei Technology that not only goes over pricing, but the internal hardware of the system as well.

What we didn’t know previously is that the tablet and dock cost is about $167. On top of that are the two Joy-Con, which are roughly $90. That’s where the $257 total came from.

Switch’s launch took place just over a month ago. With that in mind, I thought it might be interesting to have a discussion about features we’d like to see added in the future.

Switch definitely isn’t a static system. Heck, no console is these days. Companies always update their platforms with firmware updates throughout the years.

Switch’s OS is incredibly slick and fast, but it’d be tough to say that it isn’t lacking a bit in terms of features. If there’s one thing I’ve seen, it’s that users want the ability to manage saves and transfer them. With Switch already supporting some browser functionality – such as when you connect to certain hotspots – a dedicated internet browser wouldn’t hurt. You’ll also always have some Switch owners who’d like to be able to watch video content on the likes of Netflix.

Those are just a few random ideas. What features do you hope to see implemented in Switch in the future? Share your thoughts with us below.

Mystery World Dizzy was initially planned to hit the NES in 1993 as a port of the arcade game Fantasy World Dizzy. More than two decades later, it has finally been released in celebration of the character’s 30th birthday. You can play it in your browser right here. A Kickstarter campaign will also be taking place soon to offer an NES cartridge version.

Adding on to that, the National Videogame Arcade in Britain also has a new exhibition in place featuring organization sketches, design documents, and a recreation of the team’s original work studio. Wccftech caught up with Elliot Grassiano, VP game production at Microids, for a chat about Syberia 3. While the game is gearing up for its initial launch, a Switch version will follow later in the year.

When Syberia does come to Switch, it may incorporate Switch-specific features such as HD Rumble. Grassiano teased:

“We are working on a faithful port of Syberia 3, it was important for us to offer mobility to players, to allow them to embody Kate Walker wherever they want. We are thinking about a specific development on Nintendo Switch with new features, including HD Rumble support. We will use the best of this console to offer an unforgettable experience for players.”

Grassiano also spoke about Switch in general, stating:
